As I told you earlier, and you just confirmed what I said was true, there are several different kinds of firearm expertise, and many different ways, such expertise is measured.
You can have firearm legal experts.
You can firearm competition experts.
You can have firearm instructors, certified by their domiciles to give classes for concealed carry permits.
Then there is the military, law enforcement, and armed professionals.
There is gunsmithing.
There is firearm collection and appraisal experts.
There are ballistic experts.
Ammunition manufacturers.
Etc., etc.

He was a college football player, who briefly played football professionally for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
then became a corrections officer, then a Sheriffâs deputy, then a DEA agent.
To your point, as a firearm carrying member of law enforcement,
he surely had some training with a firearm.
He clearly violated several rules of basic firearm safety in that video,
he should have known better,
And I would have fired him for the incident,
because he failed in displaying novice firearm expertise that day,
in violating basic firearm handling rules.
He later sued the DEA for public embarrassment, because of the video.
But, he should be embarrassed, and he failed in his duty as a firearm carrying member of the law enforcement community that day, in an unconscionable manner.
He ultimately lost his lawsuit on the grounds that he was on duty that day, and the video was therefore not covered under the Privacy Act.

Rittenhouse was a defendant and a minor he has no power to change laws.

I am more of a shotgun, lever rifle, and bolt action rifle kind of guy.
