For perspective, the war cost approx 150,000 Iraqi lives over the 3 years of war (50,000 per year )
Saddam caused the death of approx 300,000 Iraqis over 23 years (13,000 per year)

Please note, I was never and am still not in favor of the US military invading other countries. I am arguing that Iraq did have non-nuclear WMDs, not that the US was justified in invading.
