They rarely operate like death squads.
The U.S. may do better than a lot of other countries, but it is not perfect, and the Federal government often commits crimes, in violation of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, which is why we have the process in place where one branch may be checked by the others.

Maybe because you arenât from or in the United States you just donât know where to look for coverage of this, like in Portland, Oregon where a local ANTIFA org shot up an old manâs van after surrounding it and throwing bricks through his windows and ended up killing one of their own in the crossfire. Generally thatâs not something that is likely to get highlighted in the national level media because it doesnât serve any real agenda of anyone in media.
Also because you are not from the United States you donât have a full picture of the domestic politics here even if you consume American media.
It doesnât serve any liberal/leftist media agenda because it is their guys both victimizing an old man and negligently killing one of their own and it doesnât serve any âright wingâ/conservative media agenda because largely in the US the mainstream conservative political party is in effect controlled opposition. This is because there isnât a real mainstream right wing party; the ruling class conservatives are the same social and economic class as the ruling class liberals. Itâs the same for those who work in media (even Tucker Carlson). They are all culturally liberal, they all go to the same schools, they all go to the same universities, they all go to the same dinner parties, same country clubs etc.
