yeah, it is. On so many levels…
TBQH I don’t think you can call it an “imposter Christianity” even in good faith considering the history of the church, violence, and political power. But here most “secular” libs who would say that aren’t saying it in good faith anyway.
Basically whenever “secular” libs and Christianity interact it ends up coming across like
Gotta maintain the narrative.
Secular libs are now realizing, apparently, the connections. And acting like geniuses for it.
So I came across this earlier this evening.
It’s a good primer for understanding the religious right in the USA, as well as historical development of Xtianity.
It’s long, but worth the watch.
