Nobody that I’m aware of is saying there is not liability for the death. Even if not prosecuted, Mr Noob Marine will have this with him for the rest of his life.

The last time I was on a subway in NYC, three dudes jumped me and choked me to death, completely unprovoked. I was just trying to get to MSG. The absurdity of trying to pretend like he is not complicit in or responsible for his own death defies belief.
IN the video posted, he wasn’t fighting anymore, and we don’t know how much the choke was on, either, or if he started fighting again.

the arm bar thingy the one guy was doing was not needed. maybe he was flailing around earlier, but, even then, wouldn’t need it.

We must be watching different videos. He does lock the elbow out using only his palm, but he’s not exerting force, he seems to be trying to provide some sort of misguided aid.
