The "Everybody is moving to Texas" Thread

I’m glad you got a sense of accomplishment, good work!

Why don’t you just say what you mean, instead of leaving it up to interpretation and giving yourself multiple outs?

Eat a dick. Doesn’t need to be Texas sized.

Kansas blows. Texas sucks. Oklahoma is windy for a reason.

Still, what separates us is for the most part this thing called the red river. Aptly named.

@Wrabbit. We understand you can’t help but interject yourself. It is, well, expected. You ever get that generator going?

Brexile?..

Not only the generator, but I fixed my microwave’s broken internal interlock switch, the leaking gasket on my garbage disposal’s p-trap, built a 4,700 piece LEGO Star Destroyer, and cleaned my entire office.

Haven’t needed the generator yet, of course. Our power infrastructure in NJ is top notch since Sandy.

I’m writing a book of fiction about the American Midwest, and I need to decide whether part of the setting is Oklahoma or Utah.

Leaning Utah, better desert. I have a thing for deserts.

Too right…

Definitely worth considering

It’s a beautiful place, for sure.

Utah isn’t American Midwest, LOL.

Hematite!

I’d rather live in Utah than Texas any day.

Lots fewer people in Utah, I tend to agree with you choice. Damned 3.2 beer though…

Damned sure fewer Kalifornicators.

I mean, maybe on a ranch in west Texas. Plenty of space left out there.

So if you stay in California you burn and if you move to Texas you freeze.

When do we start the “Everybody moving to Wyoming” thread?

Montana is best, imho.

Montana is a liberal haven. All liberals should go there, for great justice.

That’s freezing, man, end of story…

But Wyoming is a decent choice.
