AikidoGirl doesn’t care about the stupidity of the memberships he sells, but the idea that he might not be bonafide on a business level. Tax evaders are clearly the scum of the earth in her book (I agree BTW).

Sam, I aren’t surprised that her story is full of holes -we all know that there are always little holes which with the right questions can be made bigger in everyone’s story. Hell of all the witnesses of crimes I’ve interviewed, even the legit people, their story never adds up 100% -they are always hiding something if only their stupidity. The amount of otherwise innocent people I’ve had lie to me in interview to hide embarrassment or to protect others -and it is always a stupid thing to do but people do it.
As such I’d be reticent to use the blatant holes in her logic as hard proof of her being a plant -rather they are proof that she is not being 100% full in her explanations -who would be???
But yes, in order to gain our trust she must do something to prove beyond reasonable doubt that she is not Ashida Kim.
If people keep attacking her then she will probably withdraw into herself -she is already burning bridges with Kim and may soon be of no real use to us.
Now I propose that I act as a mediator in some sort of behind the scenes verification. Something that won’t get scrutinised by the masses and won’t reveal her ID to us -yet prove that she is independant of Kim.
What do we actually KNOW about his id:
Male -(else his publishers would have said???)
Middle aged + (publishing history etc)
American -(given?)
I’m going to approach her and see if I can get a photo of her next to a scottish village/town sign with a distinct word on a sign.
At a push someone could photoshop it but that would be OTT.
Being in UK (not near Scottland) I could verify the village etc.
Any better suggestions?

IF this girl is claiming to be the girl in THAT pic, on a PUBLIC forum, she shoudl have to PROVE that she is that person, no?
If not she is saying things and doing things in that persons name and that could be fraud and/or identiy theft.

I’ve only read a book or two on handwriting analysis, which is sketchy anyway, but the same person didn’t sign both the picture and the cert.

if that’s her signature then she lied again because she said that wasn’t her last name, so when she faxed the picture to ashida it wasn’t just for her friend to look at, it was for her to be promoted under a false name.
I’m not going to bother any more but my bullshit detector went off. Look at her cultural references, are their Kinkos and jack in the box resturants in scotland? And beka destroyed her fashion chronology.
Now if you want to see if you can get a pic out of her fine, but please don’t give her any info indicating we’ve located an address for ashida etc.

I'm not in Scotland...yet! I plan on maybe visiting there someday, but right now I live in the States. Can I take a picture of myself infront of a palm tree, or the Sierra Nevada mountain range? Or how about a highway sign? I'll hold up a paper saying the date on it, my arm will be in the picture holding up the paper with that day's date on it.
I think they all suspect I am Ashida...I think if Ashida had his way, he'd be me. [Because right now I have 2 sexual partners!] I'll be in out of town this week, so it is perfect to send this picture off from one of the cities I'll be passing.
And lastly, thanks for not suspecting me so much. You're giving me a chance to prove I'm not Ashida and not out to scam anyone, and also prove that I am not perfect; that I was a bit nieve when I sent Ashida my picture when I was 17...but who isn't nieve at 17? I honestly had no idea he would eventually post my photo on the internet...geez.
I’ll play along and see if she can come up with useful info that can subsequently be verified outside but like you lot, i’m beginning to see’s too mixed up to be a trustable non-verified source. well, at least we’re saving one victim TMAist from the Ninja Deadlies.
On the other thread i posted a request for someone to put up a mini-site and post Hunter pictures so we can send my PI and reporters to this source.
Isn’t there some way Bullshido could do that? I used to use freeservers for free webspace, I’ll see if I can work it out again…
A better way to see if it is Ashida is to collect his Internet postings and compare it against this person’s. Look for similar grammar, word usage, typos, etc.
phrost says we should find a picture of Ashida, put in on as a Picture of disaster thread on the main board and invite the noobs to find his likeness in our data base.
I’m going to go ahead and pat myself on the back for that idea. It worked marvelously before the thread started to derail.
Last night I gathered quite a bit of Ashida (from his forum) and AikidoGirls (from this forum) postings and did some manual and automated analysis on their grammar and writing style. They appear to be different people, but I don’t have enough information/text to say conclusively. Sorry.
What automated check did you do?? -just curious how that works.
My gut feeling is that the writing styles are sufficiently different and also consistant that they are probably different people. But I know jack squat about such analysis…
I actually don’t know the one Lawdog used, I’ll ask him.
