He posted on his twitter that he quote “does alpha male shit”, supporting my hypothesis that that is a term exclusively used by the mentally ill.
…
If someone has to call himself an “alpha male”, well than he isn’t an “alpha male” to start with.
In the case of “War Machine”, he’s maybe a male, but he’s not a man.
Question: is there any laws about remaining at large if it can be proven you know there is an arrest warrant?
Not that I know of…an arrest warrant is issued by a judge who was convinced by a prosecutor and law enforcement that probable cause exists that you committed the alleged crime, enough to arrest you in any case.
I’ve never seen an arrest warrant that orders the accused to turn himself in, only orders law enforcement to arrest the accused and bring him to the judge, basically.
Arrest warrant is order from a judge to arrest the person…doesn’t mention that said person should turn themselves in, in fact, I’ve never seen one (In Idaho at least) that orders the accused to do anything.
Thanks for the answers. I imagine being able to prove someone has knowledge of a warrant is new with the internet.
Really?
There isn’t a “bounty” on War Machine…he hasn’t jumped bail/bond. Typically (non attention whore) “bounty hunters” get paid by bond agencies to track down absconders/bail jumpers.
But of course, the warrants were issued in Nevada (Clark County from what I can tell), so Nevada law would apply. If he were arrested on the warrants (I’m assuming felony agg batter/assault etc.) anyplace but Nevada, he would be a “fugitive to (for example) California”, deal with extradition (waive or not) and eventually get transported back to Clark County.
By new, I mean about 20 years. Specifically, if someone uses social media they can demonstrate they have knowledge of a warrant. I was just curious if there is any legal obligation to turn oneself in.

Congratulations. We are now living inside of a cheap genre novel.
How a “bounty hunter” who is not a peace officer fits into all that I’m not sure.
So, the state code in Nevada and California specifiy that a peace officer or law enforcement officer must handle warrant arrests.
Unless DBH goes with the citizens arrest code regarding felonies, he is on thin ice…
Note this is not to be construed to be legal advice to DBH in any form or fashion, and is for entertainment purposes only !
I am sure the publicity alone is worth what ever legal troubles DBH gets into.
I think it would be difficult to find a jury that would convict DBH on what ever charges he would actually face in confronting War Machine.
That being said he certainly could get himself into a whole lot of trouble.
