Yes, I read the other thread after my last response in this thread and two hours later I woke up again from my facepalm.
@BrotherDaniel, here’s some good advice from me: go enter a Sanda/Sanshou competition to test your skills.
Don’t give me any bullshit about that it’s impossible to compare street vs sport, because
a) the adrenaline dump you will experience in both cases will paralyse you instantly if you haven’t experienced and dealt with it before.
b) trying to put a vinger in small target like an eye will not be possible IF you can’t put a fist in a face first.
Competitions will give you a controlled environment to get that experience.
I dont need to.
Ive tested myself in street fights.
The chun invasion has begun. Using Bong Sau to get a drink is not a street fight.

It used to be a “fight” in a bar or something. Now it’s street fights. There has to be something about those that train in the least alive manner that gets them in the most street fights to prove themselves.

They uses drunks as their opponents. It is usually:
Chunner: MMA doesn’t work on da streets
Person: Really?
Chunner: My shit works in the streets.
Person: really?
Chunner: Chun works for me in street fights.
Person: Really?
Chunner: Yeah, I was in a pub.

…or you know provable.
Says the guy constantly talking about his fight prowess. Let me know when you stop trolling.
thats not true, I suggest a different method of doing something and this forum has a smeltdown.
Horses for courses.
…or you know provable.
thats the things with street fights, you dont tend to have a full camera crew ready to catch all the angles.
thats not true, I suggest a different method of doing something and this forum has a smeltdown.
I think you need to look up the definition of suggestion.
thats the things with street fights, you dont tend to have a full camera crew ready to catch all the angles.
…and thats the thing with chunners, they can never prove anything.
but why prove anything when you can just fight in the “street”?

thats exactly my goal, not that i like fighting of course.
thats exactly my goal, not that i like fighting of course.
lol, ok I’ll bite, how many street fights have you had?
lol, ok I’ll bite, how many street fights have you had?
If i told you that the forum would explode. ive had my fair share.
lol, ok I’ll bite, how many street fights have you had?
“Let me check back with the morgue, it’s just been too many”
I was wondering if any of you MMA guys as part of your training ever spar 2 vs 1 or maybe more? or train any type of scenario where you have multiply people attacking you.
MMA is a rule set. You train different arts to conform to that rule set. There is not an MMA venue that I know of that is 2 vs 1, so why would you train that way?
The reason you ask this question, in my opinion, is because you are trying to set up a discussion where, in the end, you will proclaim that your style is superior to MMA, due to this one reason.
So why don’t you drop that, because it is dumb anyways, and ask something more relevant and less self serving.

OOOooohhhh!!! Really? Mr. Tough guy!
thats the things with street fights, you dont tend to have a full camera crew ready to catch all the angles.
There is other ways to prove stuff without being video. Like news articles, police reports, stuff like that.
If i told you that the forum would explode. ive had my fair share.
omg.
No really I want to know, how many?
