Gordon directed his comments at a child, not his rival.
The child is a third party, so no longer between Gordon and his rival.
The child is a child, not an adult.
If Gordon was charged with a felony, for making that harassing and bullying and sexual comment towards a child, that would be just.
I’m gonna miss that guy
He was so insightful
Lmao, you’re an idiot
What cultish brain washing did you go through to think it was OK to make sexual comments towards a child?
A real, specific child, mind you…
You fucking dumb ass.
I knew you couldn’t quit me
I also think those threads are nonsense.
You can create topics on things you like to discuss.
And I train. I am a BJJ purple belt. It basically makes me an expert.
I do judo with my dog
Regularly
Bro who thinks it’s ok?
This is why stuff like this doesn’t belong in the court of public opinions, because people like you suddenly think you’re a judge n jury, if he broke the law then hope he gets arrested, if he didn’t then he’s an asshole but I’m not gonna worry about some stupid argument, I have a life unlike you
Well interestingly we will find out who thinks it’s OK. And whether the leadership of BJJ will make a stand against that sort of behaviour.
And that will reflect on the nature of BJJ as an organisation. And what they are willing to support. And what they are willing to overlook because they have skin in the game.
And that is kind of interestingly martial artsty. Especially if you have to suck that organisations cock to say get your black belt, teaching credentials and all sorts of other real business related approval.
And then that is a reflection of what your nature might be. Whether you are going to side with Gordan Ryan cos he is one of the cool kids. Or potentially risk being ostracised.
Because if you are not a BJJ black belt. Then what is your opinion really worth?
I am the judge and jury when it comes to the tournaments I sponsor prizes for, and so it goes it goes with the other tournament promoters.
Some will black ball Ryan, and Cyborg / Fight Sports, for their behaviors, and some will look the other way.
BJJ is not an organization.
It may be a community, of many organizations and individuals.
But, it is not an organization.
Not necessary to get a black belt in BJJ, not necessary to have one’s black belt in BJJ recognized, and it is not even necessary to have a black belt to run a successful and production BJJ school (as you know, as you train at a BJJ school where the instructor is not a black belt).
There are some schools and affiliations which are cult like, and some which are not.
We do have a BJJ black belt teaching in my area. I could train with him and eventually get my BJJ black belt, which probably won’t happen under my current instructior regardless as to his ability.
Which look. My instructor is the better BJJer.
But to train with the BJJ black belt. I would have to overlook some domestic violence concerns. And I don’t think I want to do that.
Otherwise my instructor is successful because we conveniently live in a town that doesn’t care that much about rank and doesn’treallyknow ow dick about linages. And we belong to a network of MMA guys who, again don’t care that much about rank.
The BJJ hierarchy works against our school in this matter. And according to osiris this is intentional and predatory. And we are just luck that we have that different support network.
And the question isn’t about schools. But whether the affiliations are cult like. And osiris,s argument that this is intentional and predatory.

I thought there is literally two family linages you could go to to get your black belt. Which is ultimately michado or Gracie.

under my current instructior
I have spoken with your instructor in the past.
He is not stranded when it comes to his own rank and promotions, and he knows there are qualified people who would help him out, at no charge, if he found himself stranded, etc.
He gets graded by his former MMA coach. Who also gave me my purple.
Who is also a really real BJJ black belt.
So no. He is not stranded.

I thought there is literally two family linages you could go to to get your black belt. Which is ultimately michado or Gracie.
Not really.
There is the Osvaldo Fadda lineages.
There are the Gracie lineages, from the original brothers George, Carlos, Helio.
Carlos had dozens of children, Helio had more than half a dozen, and then exponential lines underneath them, many of whom, don’t get along, so there is plenty of competition.
Then there are BJJ practitioners who trained under Gracie lineages, but then fell out, and went their own way.
In this generation, at this point of time, there is plenty of competition, and no one is “stuck” choosing between Gracie or Fadda lineages.

I could train with him and eventually get my BJJ black belt, which probably won’t happen under my current instructior regardless as to his ability.

Then neither are you.
We will see I suppose. Definitely be quicker with the other guy.
Which is the moral dilemma.
