Well I think all you people who work in restaurants shouldn’t serve fat people. And for the anorexics, you could give them the supersize meals.
It would be well within the rights of any restaurant owner to refuse to serve someone based on any criteria.
It wouldn’t be a smart idea, given our hyper-PC-entitlement culture, but it would be legal according to the constitution.
Whoa… the ‘fat is a sin’ thread is spilling into the “crusader pharmacist” one. Everyone should be responsible for themselves and learn to be accountable for their own actions, whether it’s civil or moral/spiritual/whatever you wanna call it.
But, then overzealous busybodies would have nothing to to. Fine, they should go back to learning what their beliefs really are and go LIVE 'em instead of pestering others with them.

The Bill of Rights is a set of amendments TO the Constitution.
If I chose to sell a product or service, who are you to tell me to whom I can sell it? Are you going to force me to keep my business open after midnight to service people allergic to the sun?
The purpose of government, as envisioned by the founding fathers of this country, is to protect the freedoms of the individual, and nothing else. Your freedom stops where mine begins, and that includes dictating to me how I run my business as long as it doesn’t impose on anyone else’s freedoms.

What I would really really love to know is, if he is denying birth control pills to women, is he denying condoms to men?
Condoms are out in the open, not behind a counter. I would hope if he is going to take such a hard line stance on BC pills he would be the same way about any profilacterate. He probably even believes pulling out is a sin. There are plenty of people with messed up religous views about love sex and marraige.
If its his pharmacy, he can do what he choses. If it’s a chain, he’ll likely get his ass canned.

If there were a monopoly of pharmacies run by a religious group, or any other group of people living outside reality and set on imposing their views on others, it’d be a problem. But no such monopoly exists, and you have no right to tell this guy he needs to fill your perscription for BC pills if it’s against his beliefs any more than he has a right to force you to pray.
Did I mention the guy is a tard?
And in America, he’s as free to be ‘a tard’ as you are to think he’s one and to call him one.
