George Bush's America

Re-read the above jackass.

No one’s asking him to commit a felony (which, btw: I can refuse to do since it’s NOT A LAWFUL ORDER). They’re asking him to fill a fucking legal prescription which has uses OTHER than birth control.

Get your fucking head out of the sand.

I didnt say I think you are wrong. I said you are wrong. It is ok to be wrong. I’m wrong occassionally. I have also never stated nor do I feel that anyone who doesnt act exactly how I want them to is a horrible evil person, but nice try. Im 99% certain I have stated here before that people can be good moral people and not agree with the things that I believe, but since you are so busy reading thigns into what im saying that I’m not, I dont expect you would ever notice that I said it.

HYPERBOLE-Extreme exaggeration to prove a point. Learn some reading comprehension.

Guess that shows how much you know about my religion. Judging is not wrong.

You’re right. I’m wrong.

Glad you were finally adult enough to be able to admit it.

And one would have thought you’d understand sarcasm.

Oh wait… you can’t even read.

Nevermind

If being a complete moral elitist were a crime…

Oh yeah…my point!

YOU KNOW WHATS FUCKING HILARIOUS?

A conservative is supporting a person who is willfully allowing another to NOT be personally responsible. Let us all take a moment and laugh at that concept…ha…ha ha…ha ha.

Aside from that. YOU aren’t a pharmacist Chantress (i don’t think) and the decisions you make in terms of what you do don’t necessarily conflict with the obligations of your profession. This man is meant to dispense of needed legal medications…he knew it when he got into the career, and should’ve planned for something like this if he is making such a fuss about it now.

OR you could look at it this way, how would you like it if that person had no other pharmacist or birth control provider in her general area that weren’t moral elitists? Would you prefer she become a baby factory and take all your precious, hard earned money as a welfare recipient?

So if your commanding officer ordered you to do something that you felt was immoral but not illegal you would have to do it? That is where your position takes you. There is no denying it. I’m saying that given that situation, you have the right to make a decision to take what you feel is the moral high road. You still maintain your position?

Despite anything you might have said in your post, I’d just like to point out that we have enough homosexuals here as it is, please go away.

Um…ever hear of Mi Lai? That pretty much set the legal precedent for “just because your commanding officer said so, doesn’t mean you have to do it.” Then again, a Vietnamese massacre and giving a girl some pills are just a touch different, no?

haha, Xesor! You’re hilarious  why aren’t you ever on AIM anymore?

You took the time to register and type that, and that is the best you could come up with?!

What if she were stranded on mars and could not get her medication? What if the earth were really a cube, lik your head, and she couldnt figure out how to get around the corners to get to her pharmacist? What if…

As I said earlier, I have made no comment about my support of her right to have the medicine. That is not the issue under discussion. I even acknowledged her right in a previous post. The discussion is the pharmacists right to make a moral decision. Like it or not, he has that right, and as a conservative I have no intention of supporting a position that would take that right away from him.

While he may have known when he went into the field what would be required, he could have easily had a change of heart and decided to no longer dispense that type of medication.

Once again, her right to have the medication is not greater than his right to take a moral stand on something he believes to be right. He doesnt have to do it if he doesnt want to.

Why did Dr Kevorkian go to jail? He just did what the customer wanted him to do… Its more extreme I know. But it wont be too much longer we wont have extremes… and thats the problem…

Fuck a BUNCH of Christians.

I am a living paradox, as I am vehemently anti-religion, but consider myself a Republican.

I say again: Fuck a bunch of Christians, the Baby Jesus, his Daddy, the holy Mother, the Holy Ghost, and any other ‘holy’ shit I missed. Up the goat ass.

I’d like to thank all the intolerant people for either pushing their morals onto others, or the ones who decide that ALL people in any demographic group are all the same. Hoo-fucking ray for your sensitive acceptance, and may you all get exactly what cosmic karma gives you for it.

I’m really tired of being lumped in with clueless earth noobs!

MAT 7:1

Judge not, that ye be not judged.

For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Looks like the Bible considers is pretty wrong to me.

After talking with my father, who is a pharmacist, I understand that pharmacists are protected under law regarding this. However, he pointed out that they are the exception, not the rule. Frankly, it offended him. If I was an ER nurse that refused to treat a drunk driver that had been in an accident and hurt someone, my balls would be nailed to the wall. I sure as hell wouldn’t be a nurse for long. In fact I would probably be swamped in law suits. I am not one for frivilous law suits but maybe if that woman became pregnant or had something else wrong with her that resulted from not being able to get her pills and sued CVS and the pharmacist, they would reconcider their moral positions cause it would hurt their wallet. Also, most of us have a choice to go to another phamacy, so hit em where it hurts, go to a different one. Living in small town America, I understand that some towns have just one, but alot around here will mail medications if you live in another town.

Although I cannot support what Straylight has said in this thread, I fully support Straylight as a person, and I agree with his views on women in the workplace.

Yes folks, its time once again for every liberals favorite game…FUN WITH OUT OF CONTEXT!!!

From the same chapter…
Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Now how on earth are we supposed to know if someone is a ravening wolf unless we judge them to be so? Analyzed in the appropriate context one can clearly see that he is not saying dont judge, but instead be careful how you judge others, because you wil be judged by the same standard.

so what your saying is the bible contradicts itself? NO WAY!!

Not a liberal, and certainly not out of context. 7:15 warns that some prophets will be false. 7:16 tells you you don’t have to judge them, their acts will speak for themselves. Luke 6:43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neiter doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 6:44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.

There is no judgement here for you to make, God has told you exactly what to look for.

But hey, don’t take my word for it. Ask your Pastor.

I think what Chant is saying is that judging and judging and are two different things. Judging that people are a certian way, right or wrong, is judgement by observation. The kind that isn’t reserved for anyone to make is judging someone’s worthiness to themselves or to life and god. Pronouncing death to people would be the kind of condemning judgement you’d find being elaborated in the Hebrew terminology. Whereas in the Greek books ‘judge for yourself’ is commonly used since it is based on observational prowessto determine motives from words and actions.
