Connor McGregor arrested for felony robbery and criminal mischief

The guy can’t stop himself from screwing up and acting out in idiot ways.

Edit: This comes just 5 days after completing probation on his last arrest.

PD seem to be going overkill on this one. He’s still an idiot though.

How do you figure? He broke someone’s presumably expensive phone and then stole it.

He’s lucky they didn’t charge him with assault as well in my opinion.

He knocked it to the ground and stomped on it after the dude got up in his face. That isn’t “strongarm robbery.”

Sans video it seems like you’re presuming that Conor wasn’t the aggressor. He knocked someone’s property out of their hand, stomped on it and stole it. Presumably under the threat of force either spoken or implied. That sounds like strong arm robbery. I’m sure we’ll get to see the footage eventually and then we can second guess the cops.

Given Conor’s other violent antics I am not keen to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I’m not sure this is MABS material. I’m going to relocate to “Martial Arts in the News.” I’m not ignorant of my personal biases, but MABS threads don’t start with a TMZ article.

Good call. TMZ sucks but they broke the news so I linked to them.

That wasn’t a MABS worthy post anyway.

Presentation wise … not content wise.

Goddamn. A felony for breaking someone’s phone. That’s pretty stiff. But whatever. He’s a dick. Who cares?

I’m certain he’ll suffer personal and professional consequences this time.
Like a fast pass to an undeserved title match or another Pay Per View special.
There’s no way Dana will let such heinous fuckery go unrewarded.

This guy is in the United States because there is a death warrant or punishment contract on his head in Ireland from the Irish Mob,

who largely controls all the heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine coming into Europe,

except that which comes straight through Turkey.

I don’t think he gives two shits about a United States felony count.

He is not acting.

And any outcome that does not result in his getting a bullet to his brain,

or getting his parts fed to a pig farm,

is a fucking good scenario as far as he should be concerned.

Do you have any proof of the claims you make here?

Just go to the Irish Mob Union Hall and see if there is any Mc Gregors on the list for scheduled limb breakings.

WhatsApp group rumors don’t count.

Yeah, that does sound a little far fetched.

The incident with the mob is a couple years old, and since there’s been photos of them hanging out together, and being on his private jet. There’s been supposed worse allegations made against him here that could just be heresay put on someone of his level of fame, or really fucked up if there’s some truth to it.

He could also just be over there doing whiskey promotions, and alternative training as he isn’t working with Kavanagh at the moment. It’s funny that it’s rumoured he hates being caught on camera when under the influence of something Miami was built on, so it’d be interesting to see what’s on the footage. Maybe USADA can squash those rumours, or not.

Those do seem like some severe charges for busting someone’s phone, but in a world world he shouldn’t be acting like a dick either.

He’s a privileged man in a foreign host country acting like a violent thug. I don’t really give a shit about what his concerns are. He can go right back to Ireland and deal with the mob on his own for all I care.

Well… Sadly… as I was only tangentially connected to Ireland through my wife, and having moved to Israel, I kinda let my Local #1916 dues slip. Wouldn’t want to offend or anything.

He could be doing all those things, and most certainly is.

There is only a couple ways that a guy like him can get out of trouble with the people he was in trouble with.

And the staying out of trouble is not permanent.

Especially not for him.
WhatsApp group rumors don’t count.
You guys are fucking morons if you think the Irish Mob let him walk away from that just to be nice guys, or because he is an Irish sport celebrity.

He’ll be on come hither beck and call or under threat of punishment his whole life, or rather until he dies now.
