Connor McGregor arrested for felony robbery and criminal mischief

I don’t celebrate what just happened. He seems troubled and without an inner compass. I don’t want to hear down the track that he’s overdosed or taken his life.
You guys are fucking morons if you think the Irish Mob let him walk away from that just to be nice guys, or because he is an Irish sport celebrity.

He’ll be on come hither beck and call or under threat of punishment his whole life, or rather until he dies now.
Look. I like Adrian McKinty novels as much as the next guy, but you realize that shit’s fiction, right?

The Irish Mob rivals the Columbian Cartels.

You perhaps rely on reading fiction, comic books, and movies too much.

Haven’t the Columbian cartels been ok the way out for awhile now? Mexico is where the real cartel action is.

He released a statement that he was in Miami to celebrate his mum’s 60th birthday, as a point of trivia.

Colombia produces most of the world’s cocaine — and output is at a record-high
Colombia, along with Bolivia and Peru, produce nearly all of the world’s cocaine.

Mexico is just a wholesaler.

When you’re doing your job as a criminal right no one knows your name.

I think people forget how much phones cost these days. If that was a new I phone XS Max the thing costs about $1100. So he stole an item worth potentially a thousand dollars. In Florida, grand theft is stealing anything over $300. Hence felony theft. Most phones cost more than $300 these days.

No people haven’t forgotten.
People are just being contrary and slimy for the sake of being contrary and slimy.

It’s also pretty obvious that they are going to charge him with the max and then he will plea down. Get some community service and pay the fines. That’s my prediction.

Sub and Dr. G are always trying to get a wager going. Wasup, what’s your prediction?

A wager you say?

I like your position.

However, if the odds are right, I could be persuaded to take an opposing position in a wager.

I predict everyone will be disappointed and Justice will be lost to all involved.

ALL involved? Shit that’s a lot of people.
ALL involved? Shit that’s a lot of people.
I know I am already disappointed.

Probably in Dublin but I have a hard time seeing them get up the same quality of shit, or rather cac, in the USA. I figured they learned their lesson after Jack Ryan impaled Shaun Bean on an anchor in 92.

Oh, the 90s. I miss them. It was a golden age of peace for America.
This guy is in the United States because there is a death warrant or punishment contract on his head in Ireland from the Irish Mob,

who largely controls all the heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine coming into Europe,

except that which comes straight through Turkey.

I don’t think he gives two shits about a United States felony count.

He is not acting.

And any outcome that does not result in his getting a bullet to his brain,

or getting his parts fed to a pig farm,

is a fucking good scenario as far as he should be concerned.
No really, where did you get this from? Specifics please.
He could be doing all those things, and most certainly is.

There is only a couple ways that a guy like him can get out of trouble with the people he was in trouble with.

And the staying out of trouble is not permanent.

Especially not for him.
He likely paid them off, and continues to do so. He’s been moving about Ireland freely since that pub incident a couple years ago.

He’s from Crumlin, the same area of Dublin the Kinahan gang is from, and went to the same boxing club, and has been in photos with some of them(they’re all coke heads) All the Dubs there fancy that gangster image, and even though he moved as a youth, uses the name Notorious if that says anything about his recent behaviour.

They’re dangerous people, and wouldn’t want to be on the wrong side of any of them, but they don’t compare to the animals back in the States. I’d walk any dark corner of Dublin, Belfast, stab city Limerick, or anywhere in Ireland sooner than I would some areas of my hometown.
He likely paid them off, and continues to do so.
I have no doubt, otherwise he would already be dead.

The trouble is, the mob rarely stays paid off, or has any reservations about calling in additional services etc.

In any case, the major Irish Gangs have found greater success in moving their distribution outside of Ireland, in neighboring European countries, than they have found in focusing exclusively on Ireland.

And, now it’s a power struggle or sometimes partnerships with the other big boys on the European drug trafficking scene, including the Albanian mob, and the Italian mobs.

There is a lot of cocaine coming in from South America,

and a lot of Heroin coming from Turkey and Asia,

and there is a lot of money, and arms moving through Europe as a result.

Human trafficking is also on the upswing in Europe.

Fun times.

That’s true, and could always be a future concern. The guy lives in a mansion in Lucan, a successful whiskey business (for now), and two kids. You’d think he’d knock this shit on the head…

We also still have paramilitary groups, especially up here, involved in the drug&trafficking trade. I guess the moral of the story is say no to drugs!
