So how is Judo superior to Aikido?
Steven Segal?! I love him!
What’s this about?
Haha you are funny.
Kraik got banned? That’s too bad.
We might have some traction on this. For those of you who avoid Wing Chun threads like Thai girls with Adam’s Apples, Kamon Dude has agreed to host a TD in Epsom. Does anyone have problems getting there?
I’m still sad we dont get to beat on Kraik
Well next year I’ll be up in Scotland (Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen) and I’ll be making trips down to London about 4 times a year, so I could attend a Throwdown then.
Besides if you were to fight me, I’d recommend that you train very hard because I only do full contact fights.

Why, dont you Shorinji Kempo guys spar? Do you even know the difference between fighting and sparring? A throwdown is generally just an oppurtunity to train with other people and socialise.
Thats fine Kraik i train at an MMA gym - If you want a ‘fight’ we can do that.

I have met Kambei and apart from being a great lad and a fucking good laugh, he’s also pretty big, scary looking and has that killa look in his eye.
If you want to fight him full contact, let’s make it happen.
We do spar and we call it “randori” which means something like ‘chaos’. But it’s generally done with body armour and a helmet. It’s generally near full contact, with the exception of pulling back when hitting the visor of the helmet.
If I were to fight you, there would be no armour. But right now I’m in no condition to fight someone trained in the martial arts.

Of course there would be no ‘armour’.
Well your still welcome to come along to the London Throwdown just to train if you want.
I would love to come, I really would, but my self consciousness stops me from doing so. I just don’t want to embarrass myself. I’m sorry.
Then fuck off out of this thread. You’re either a troll or someone so stupid and insecure that you can’t possibly train with people that may ‘win’ in a sparring situation, and so delusional that you think your (LOL) Kempo will give you the skill to fight an MMA trained fighter.
If you’re a troll, fuck off
If you won’t come because your ego needs stroking, fuck off
It’s not Kempo, don’t let the name confuse you. The two are completely unrelated.
I could beat you in a fight, you train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. You think that it’s an effective martial art in a real fighting situation, but you’re wrong. A cage fight is nothing like a real self defense situation. In a real fight you really don’t want to be going on the floor and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is useless against more than one opponent.
I’m surprised you guys aren’t in the Olympics, you’re falling to the same level as Tae Kwon Do.
Your martial art is very incomplete and flawed. It’s like trying to learn how to open a door, but only learning to turn the handle without being able to pull or push it.
Sure you might train in Mixed Martial Arts also, but it won’t make me care. You’re a jack of all trades, but a master of none.
I’d like to see you try and rush towards me and try to grab hold of my legs. I will launch a knee straight through your jaw.
You know what, I think this will probably be my last word on this thread. I’m not going to be attending this Throwdown, so fair enough you have a point.
I suppose you also know that I have a brown belt in karate, 2 years of Wing Chun, 5 years of Tong Long and 3 years of Muay Thai training and full contact fighting experience too right?
Regardless, I am not saying that BJJ alone would win in the cage nowadays. But I am not the fuckwit banging on about only wanting to fight full contact at Throwdowns and not being able to spar in a friendly way because of ego problems.
If you don’t want to come to the TD because of your ego, please leave my thread alone.

Are there more than one of you?
lol
rofl.
Ahem.
Anyway, I can make it to Epsom but I too would prefer a central location.
:hello:
Look me up at Titan Judo or SMTC Muay Thai. Both in Clydebank, less than 10 miles from Glasgow city centre. I’d be delighted to spar with you.
I’d recommend that you train very hard because I only do full contact fights.
Thats nice, so do I. Round here we call it Judo.
