What's In Your Garage?

Let’s hear from the car enthusiasts, what are you driving?

2005 Chevy Trailblazer LT (White) - I bought it new, it’s my daily driver. Functional, decent looking and comfortable ride. 15 MPG sucks right now.

2004 Jaguar X-Type 3.0 AWD (Silver) - Wife’s car, bought it used in '05 on E-Bay. Great car, never had any issues. Looks good and has the luxury touches at a reasonable price (I paid under $30K).

2002 Porsche Boxster (Black) - Bought last year, also on E-Bay. Exceptional handling (mid-engine design and stability management makes it almost roll proof). Convertible top is great, good acceleration. Only had 27K miles when I bought it for under $25K.

Dream Car - If money were no object I’d be driving a new Porsche 911 Targa 4S

1969 Olds Cutlass-S Holiday coupe.

Numbers-matching front to back. Original 350-Rocket with a mild cam and true dual exhaust by Thrust (No cats).

Bright blaze orange.

One of mine is a 1994 Toyota Tercel. The other one is a piece of crap.

She’s a beauty, do you show?

2004 Nissan SE

I love this car. Def buying a Nissan as my first.

2008 Audi A4 Sedan

Drives fucking beautifully, only weird thing is that it feels heavier then it really is (it’s a pretty light car, this doesn’t really fuck up the drive it’s self, just a bit odd). Comes with a small sun roof thats half-auto, XD!

Fuck you I like my Audi ya fuckers (Scapper, you still win)

Also to Joe karate, HOW THE FUCK DO YOU AFFORD 3 CARS!? A Porsche AND a Jaguar!? Motherfucker do you sell crack!? Cuz if you do I’m totally looking to make some fucking cash.

NAh. the interior has been a two-year odyssey of fail.

I have never done interiors before. I need a headliner and a dashboard; both of which are proving impossible to find.

Plus, I’m afraid to cut the old dash to accommodate new gauges and stereo. Paying someone to do it is gonna cost a fortune.

I rented an A4 in Ottawa last year and it was a blast to drive.

I bought the Jag and the Porsche both used, which I highly recommend. Both were in pristine shape and about 1/2 of what you would spend new.

Shown for a couple of years, good for mid 12’s street tires and pump gas, everything works (A/C, cruise, T-tops, Bose Stereo, Power everything, Leather interior) 65,000 original miles.

Thanks for the pix, Fickle and Scrapper. Great rides both.

The Jag is all-factory but with 20" BBS wheels and Borla exhaust tips.

1997 Toyota Camry XLE

in a slightly darker beige. 235,000 miles and it’s still going strong!

They will run forever if maintained, one of the best “bang for the buck” cars around . . .

Nice car. I can see why you’re playing pocket pool in the picture. :tongue3:

2000 Ford F250 and a 2004 BMW 325i.

Merc and a Mini

I was thinking of getting a Jag but my mechanic warned me off them. How do you find yours?

I had the old shape A4 many years ago. Great car, point and shoot, never let you down.

The power steering is progressive in Aud’s, faster you go the harder to move the wheel. Always got slated over here as too light on the steering.

I’ve owned it for a little over three years and it now has 68K miles (18K when I bought it). We haven’t had a single mechanical issue and only change the oil every 10K mile with Castrol Syntec.

I actually did some research on Consumer Reports, etc. when I was looking (in 2005 for a 2004 model year) and they were rated very high. I know for years the rep was not good though . . .

Hey Who?, the Mini looks like it would be a blast to drive, how do you like it?

2002 Audi A4 3.0L Quattro. Effin love it, will probably stick to Audi’s for a long time to come. Especially when they are slightly pre-owned and cheap as hell. Can’t think of a car on the market right now I’d buy for equivalent money, especially if we’re going on looks.

I have one of these:

2000 Dodge Ram with the Cummins Diesel. It’s a badass work truck but the fuel injection pump took a shit on me=$2,700 and now the 3rd and 4th gear are dying and Diesel is totally too expensive these days. So it’s garaged and I’m driving one of these:

its a Dakota and I look like I’m on my way to coach a lesbian softball team. But it does get 16-20mpg and the extra cab is nice for the little guys and gear and stuff.

Also, screw you guys and your badass sleds! dammit
