Anyway, use this thread to post any glitches you come across. It took about 30 hours of work just to change everything over, and that’s undoubtedly not enough to do it right.
Include what browse you’re using when you see the glitch.
(If you use IE, you’re an ass.)
And if you can get a screen capture of it, even better!
The context menu for “Selected Threads” being is cut off sometimes (depending on menu’s position in the frame, the full menu only shows up when the button is at the very bottom of the window)
The text in a lot of context menus is white on grey which is very hard to see.
Firefox 16.0.2 on SL 6.0. This bit is from the New Posts search. There is glitchy crap between a bolded title and the author information.

That’s the rest of the thread title, it’s covered up so that the field doesn’t stretch… not sure how to fix this one to be honest.
Not graphics related but as long as you’re listening I note that the Varrots don’t go up any more when a post gets upvoted. That was happening before the colour scheme change though.

Oh noes. I went to The Armory. I was about to make a new thread which would’ve been super awesome. Put my pointer over the Create New Thread button. A red blob/box magically appears over the button and sends me to Sociocide when I click on it.
Well, shucks. Go back in to try again. Use the Create New Thread button at the bottom of the page instead. No red blob there and it sends me on to the next page. Sweet. Go to the title field. Red blob. Click anyway hoping it will let me type there. Sociocide.
Actually, it’s not just when I try to create a new thread. Went into some other threads in The Armory. Red blobs all over the place when I move my pointer around the top third of the page.
Not a glitch, but we should probably have the rep and report buttons in a different colour. Right now they’re blending into the post box and you have to mouse over them.
Noobs will be lost and confused.

I did a quick test with chrome’s developer tools – adding height: 100% to the <h3 class=“searchtitle”> fixes the issue. Don’t know if the element is used elsewhere though.
EDIT: That’s if you do want to stretch the element. Otherwise I guess text-overflow: ellipsis might be of use, it truncates the overflow part of the text to “…”, but no idea how the rest of the css affecting the link element needs to change to support it.
EDIT2: I’d really prefer it to stretch the element to show the full thread title. If not then try to combine the ellipsis + full title on hover.
Just curious, is the site running off Drupal or Joomla?
I think I asked once before, but don’t remember the answer…
VBulletin and related products. Drupal and Joomla are horrible. If I could figure out how to do the front end on WordPress, I’d have done that years ago. But VBulletin, I suspect, actively designs to prevent connectivity between the to so they can sell their own CMS.
