Sometimes people in certain government or government contractor roles may get retroactive directives, about even their past social media use.
Requesting posts or accounts get deleted can, in some cases, be sufficient proof that efforts were made to comply with such directives.
I don’t know that this was the case, with the poster above.
But, I have worked on some projects, where the people involved were instructed they could not have social media presences, current, or past, for the duration of the project, or that contract.
