The rules were in place long before them. You forget Pancrase splintered from Shootfighting to UWF and Pancrase.
No, UWF split into Pancrase, which left the Fujiwara Gumi, and made new rules, like no striking on the ground and no works, and Shootfighting which was more like Bart Vale’s personal promotion, which never left the Fujiwara Gumi…hence his copywriting of the term in America, the homo. Vale copyed Pancrase rules.
However, you could say Pancrase copyed RINGS rules.
So then, Akira Maeda is a pussy, hehe.
Guess who the fucking pussy wearing shin guards is?
:homo:
(the other guy is Camus)
LMSNAO!
Serious question omega, have you ever seen Pancrase-style shin/kneepads for sale?
No no no, guys, I said shin guards are for pussies. I was wearing them for Camus’s sake. That makes Camus the pussy.
Yeah, they range from $149 u.s. and up. Why you want a pair?
Yeah, or, I will anyway. I plan to fight in MMA with a gimmick, and the shin-guards ala Pancrase will be a necessary part of my costume.
am I the only one that thinks shinguards are more to protect the wearer’s shins than the other person from their shins? Hell, I’d almost rather get kicked in the face than clang my shin or instep unprotected against someone’s knee.
No…shinguards really are for pussies. My brother played soccer for years, so when we started training, he had shins of steel and I had (and still have) shins of putty.
When we went hard shin-to-shin without pads, he’d bruise a little, I would roll around on the ground howling.
Mmmmhmmmm, big talk
You put those on of your own volition
I think you were just afraid of my legendary leg kicks. :tongue1:
Thanks for the advice on the shinguards im ordering some similar.
