As of right now Park is not even listed on the K-1 Japan fighter profile list. But I suspect that he will be part of the K1 Asia GP which is usually held in Seoul. The Asia GP has a reputation for chock full of tomato cans in an attempt to have it won by a Korean so they can have a Korean fighter in the final elimination for the year.
My predictions for fighters in 2007’s K1 Asia GP
Park Yong Soo
Choi Hong Man
Zhang Qing Jun
Yusuke Fujimoto (last year’s champ)
Mehdi Mirdavoudi
Kim Min Soo
Mourad Bouzidi
Tsuyoshi Nakasako
Potentially one of the above foreign fighters will be replaced with a Korean so half of the field will be Korean fighters. The only recognizable names on that list are Fujimoto, who has been around in the K1 for years, and Choi Hong Man, who is the only Korean to win a K1 GP event
Since all the Korean jokes are used up, I’ll just mention that these videos demonstrate that TKD is not fundamentally evil - if raised by humans, a person born into TKD can be taught goodness through example and shock conditioning.
The funniest thing about that video is that I could totally see my brother doing that. And he’s white. He likes the dark meat though, so I guess that makes him Asian by association. Dance Dance Revolution … lol. We went to chuckecheese once with my daughter and some kids from his classes and he got on that damn thing. Did some face off with some TNP guy. At the end they did some sort of mid 70’s high five hand jive. Pretty funny man. Pretty funny.
