The ignore function needs to go the way of the Dodo (no, not eaten into extinction by ravenous sailors). Such a safe-haven from legitimate debate/argument/discussion has no place on a discussion forum that prides itself on outing fake, ineffective martial arts, and frauds/liars of all sorts. This is a place for open, honest, and often raucous debate among adults who understand that a few insults hurled is just another way of saying “I love (platonic) you 'bro”.
The Moderators can moderate TOS violations as need be.
So, what say you, Moderators and Phrost-Matrix?
Why in hell does bs.net even have such a cowardly device as the “ignore” function ?
I agree. Or if there is going to be an ignore button, let us have an ignore the ignore button button. So that we can designate our posts to be seen by everyone including those that are ignoring us.

I know. Give anyone who uses the ignore function an “I’m a Pussy Tag”.
The new system does ignore very differently. I don’t think I’ve even turned it on, because there are better methods of feedback. Soon!
(edit) The new system also does tags very differently; so I could do funny stuff like create an ad-hoc Ignoramus tag, and tie that to a specific post as the impetus.
It’s really not as interesting as you remember, because we generally don’t ban “real” people, anymore. Again, the new system handles this in a much better way.

I don’t use it as a ‘safe space’ as much as the shit head has nothing to fucking offer. Hell I don’t even remember who he is (I could look) but fuck him. He really lends nothing to the conversation.

Look, Mr. Sarcasm, I’m being serious here, OK ? If you don’t stop making fun of me I will put you on “ignore”.

OK, if the new “system” doesn’t have the “ignore” function turned on, and it stays off, that will work for me.
Being ignorant is OK, but putting people on “ignore” is not.

Somebody rage quits all the time ? I thought that was just W. Rabbit ?
If you put everybody who lend nothing to the conversation here on ignore, you’d be awfully lonely here.
In any case, apparently the “new system” has “ignore” turned off. Hopefully, anyway.
