Sorry bro, that "Tinder for Fighting" App is Fake

You wanted it to be real. We wanted it to be real. Unfortunately, like there’s simply no way it is.

Don’t feel bad though, Venture Beat, New York Magazine, and the New York Post got hoaxed by this too, along with whoever shared it to your Facebook feed or mailed it with too many stamps to your fighty Irish grandmother.

You see, the knuckleheads behind “Rumblr” are headquartered in New York; you know, the state whose assembly has dragged its feet for years about making actual professional fighting, in a safe and controlled environment, legal.

You can sign up for the app ahead of its nebulous release date, its creators --two recent high school graduates-- are still insisting that it’s real. But you’re more likely to meet up with Jennifer Lawrence on Tinder than you are to do any “recreational fighting” via this marketing stunt.

Sorry. We wanted it to be real too.

Whoa! I think the important part of this message is you think I can hook up with Katness.

If you wanna fight someone over a phone, do it the old fashioned way and grab their cellphone out of their hand and throw it hard at the ground.

I have street blueballs.

Society just needs to bring back the ol’ tavern rage cage.
