I hate to say it guys but I don’t think that was a Kyokushin practitioner. I think the SAMBO fighter gave up to exhaustion.

You may be right. I’ve never seen a kyokushin karateka fight a match without his full dogi. I am very new to the art though so that may mean nothing.

Agreed the sambo guy was gassed. As for the karateka’s style, now that you mention it, his strikes looked nothing like what I’ve been learning the past two weeks. I’ve been going twice a day too. The beginner class and advanced classes.

For example:
I entered my matches claiming Kung Fu. It’s my style. It’s my opponents job to find out anything else I’ve done. Big Daddy Goodridge, entered as a Kuk Sool Won fighter but he was just a brawler. -This is by design.
One of my fighters that fought 2 weeks ago was announced as a 5’8 145 lbs against 5’10 170lbs, yet my fighter look strangely bigger than his opponent. -This is by accident.
So by design or by accident I have a funny feeling that guy was a TKD stylist.
