The only way to test a martial art’s legitimacy is untestable, legally where I live, by your standards.
Go watch the earliest UFC’s. If a martial artist needs to use fish hooks and eye gouges to win a fight, then they need to rethink their training.
Or post a video of a guy using _ing __un to win a street fight.
well just because something is untestable legally in the area you live in does make it any less legitimate. I have no “team” i go for in terms of fighting style. I have not seen anybody use wing chun to win a street fight lol that’s true.
I’d advise you to look up any number of streetfight videos and see that you have just created a logical fallacy.
that is incorrect. One’s body goes through fight or flight mode when faced with a potential threat which tends to numb the body. One need just wait for the body to go back to homeostasis to feel the damage. The boxers in the video i mentioned know this perfectly and have changed their style and hand use to better protect themselves from damage to their hands.
What is with the “lol”? Every idiot with no idea how to form a reasoned argument throws a few of them into their posts.
I believe it started years ago with SomethingAwful.com’s JeffK character, which satirized what happens when a dumbass meets an internet-connected “computar”.
“LOLZ ZOMG YUO ARE SO FUNNY. LOOK! ITS A MONSTAR!!! CAROTE@”
is noob speak for
“please don’t read what I’ve written, there is nothing useful therein”.
that is incorrect.
No, it is quite correct.
One’s body goes through fight or flight mode when faced with a potential threat which tends to numb the body.
Irrelevant.
One need just wait for the body to go back to homeostasis to feel the damage.
This applies to streetfights, boxers, TKDers, no rule fighters and ruled fighters.
The boxers in the video i mentioned know this perfectly and have changed their style and hand use to better protect themselves from damage to their hands.
This has NOTHING to do with your initial argument, but go ahead we are in trollshido.

Rules exist everywhere, even in street fights. The legality of what you’re doing is quite relevant when discussing self defense.

This message brought to you by the desert submarine, space helicopter, underground solar pannel and baby-organ biodiesel.
well just because something is untestable legally in the area you live in does make it any less legitimate.
Yeah, I get it–this makes perfect sense, unless you think about it. So, what you are saying is a chicken is really nothing more than a bird, if you cut off its feet, it is still a chicken???

I always enjoy reading people’s posts who try to argue with IIF and they don’t understand the term “logical fallacy”.
Go look up that term kid. It’ll help you to appear as less of a dumbass.
Damn son, when did you start crackin’ on fools?
When it was moved to Trollshido, and when this one became such a notable figure. All’s fair here LOL.
I just thought I would point out in a nice trollshido way that boxing has everything chun has. From vertical punching to hand trapping to counter punching.
They just do it better.
Boxing has changed because more people are doing it. Which means that more people are testing ideas out and seeing what works. Bigger gene pool as it were. And has created a stronger system than was used back in the day.
And Australia holds the record for the longest bare knuckle boxing match this is of course because we are a tougher race of people than anybody else.

This is true.
England deported all of their best functioning male gonads to Australia back in the 1900’s, where harsh conditions and relative isolation weeded out all but the toughest blokes. Thus producing the super race that brought us Welcome To Woop Woop and Priscilla Queen of The Desert.
Meanwhile back in Britania, last decent pair of living stones belongs to Margaret Thatcher.

Even though there are still only three basic styles of boxing, people still adapt them to suit their strengths.
