As of right now, politics are banned from the armory. If you want to talk 2A, go to GenBS. This forum is now only for technology and technique. We will start with infractions and move up from there. You have been warned.
Cassius will be chiming in with the updated list of rules.
If anyone has a problem with this update please feel free to blame me. I decided to relax the long-standing rules against political posts with an eye toward improving traffic. First with the gun control megathread, then by allowing other threads to meander, and finally allowing entirely political threads. My hope was to increase interest and traffic. Well we got more traffic, but very little additional technical content. I brought up my concerns to the rest of BS management and we agreed to reset and try again.
As of 2020 let’s work toward providing a good subforum to discuss technical subjects, training, and equipment as it relates to small arms and non-empty hand practical self defense. Honest misunderstandings as far as appropriate content and occasional political jibes will not be harshly penalized unless they become a problem. Bear in mind that more productive posters will be more likely to receive benefit of the doubt.
If anyone wants to post criticism of a law or policy that is technical in nature, I am open to granting exceptions. Responses that are largely political in nature will likely be trollshidoed.

Fucking perfect.
Got my AR lower built. Still need buffer and buttstock.
Gents will it be okay to post about kit that’s related to firearms indirectly? Like say reviews and opinions on boots, daysacks (packs/rucks), outdoor clothing, tactical kit, things like that?
