The accusations do not appear to be baseless. We haveve been contacted buy a few sources that would prefer to remain anonymous, and this is quite a big thing. So stand by, there will be more to follow soon.
Good. I really don’t like it when real situations that need attention cannot get it. It actually hurts my feelers to explain to someone that "… sorry … your word alone doesn’t mean anything… "

That is why I specifically mentioned that common knowledge is not actually common … like common courtesy or common sense.
I am a woman and a former student of Alvis Solis, I can shed some light on the type of behavior alluded to by this post.
Here are a few examples of the type of behavior of this former instructor and gym owner, Alvis Solis:
At a local tournament, Alvis expressed to me that he needed someone to talk to about the recent passing of his father, he asked me to go outside with him to talk. Instead of talking about this, he led me to the side of the high school gym hosting the tournament, and tried to coerce me into oral sex. I refused, and asked him to please stop this behavior. I went back into the tournament and pretended like it didn’t happen.
At his gym, after most students had left from training, he followed me to the women’s dressing room, pushed me against a wall and forcefully kissed me. I pushed him off and again asked him to please stop this behavior, and to respect my wishes to not be pursued in this way.
At the IBJJF Pan Jiu Jitsu Championship, he sent me messages saying he wished he could get a private room so that I could meet him there and have sex with him. I asked him to please stop sending me messages of that nature. This happened over 2 years ago and I no longer have the text messages. I wanted to forget it ever happened.
While I was competing for SMAA at a tournament, he told me that watching me compete in my first match gave him an erection.
Alvis made it very clear that if I continued to deny his sexual advances, that I would no longer be able to compete with the team, and that I would no longer advance in BJJ. Eventually, I could not handle the constant sexual harassment and coercion, so I left the team and school.
