I think this would go better in YMAS than here. Having said that… WAKO, dude. I am the closest thing this site has to a WCL nuthugger. But you are NOT HELPING.
Besides, there’s been several threads about the WCL recently. Do a seacrh and think about adding a comment there. Just make sure it is a worthwhile comment that actually contributes something to the thread.
As for your point about point fighters… They do well in the WCL for two reasons. They are very athletic and they are fast which the rules of the WCL favor both those attributes. The rules of the WCL also forbid clinching and encourage long range fighting, which also favors point fighters. However, even with all that, if you think the “pointfighters” walked straight from the mat into the WCL ring, you’re crazy. They train for full contact now. If they didn’t, they’d get killed.
Here’s a key difference that comes into play. In the WCL guys actually fight. In pointfighting they only pretend to fight.
