Ok, so I’ve just recently heard about all this nonsense. What does it all mean and what is it about? What is this pick-up artist crap I keep hearing about?
id hazard a guess at it being someone whos good at “picking up” women from various establishments.
ive never been big on picking someone up from a club etc. apart from generally disliking clubs im not a big fan of girls who hang around in clubs looking for a fuck. call me a romantic but i like to at least take someone on a date first.

This journalist Neil Strauss investigated the whole pick-up artist thing, and wrote a pretty entertaining book about it called The Game. It looks like a whole bunch of different techniques, tricks and stuff to get into the pants of women. He got pretty addicted to it (who wouldn’t?).

Agreed. Some of the stuff seems fairly useful for people who just struggle to talk to strangers - but some of the stuff i wasn’t all that comfortable with, the NLP stuff just seemed too much like tricking a bird into bed, a real unfair advantage.
I also hate people rating girls out of 10.
