We haven’t had one of these for a while and the wife managed to get some great photos of my kids. So bring the cute.
These are our two fuzzballs. We got the gray one when one of my wife’s coworkers needed to give her a new home, because the other cats in her house were enormous and trying to kill her. Actually trying to kill her, considering we got her with stitches over one eye and on one of her paws. The black one was an anniversary present from my wife.
We also had a dog for a while, but she couldn’t handle being left alone for 8 hours a day. She was a sweetheart when we could spend enough time with her, but full-time jobs meant we had to give her up to a retired woman who could be with her all day.
I don’t have any pets myself, but I’m currently pet sitting two cats and a puppy right now.
My life just got so much more adorable.
My cat:
She’s got an over-active thyroid and a tumour.

Alfie (the albino ferret) has Cushing’s disease and Insulinoma. He’s got an implant and has to have a steroid tablet twice a day. While he’s happy and comfortable now, the vet fears he may not make it through another year.
I was never much of a pet person, but my girlfriend has 2 cats that are pretty cool. Here’s the one that likes me:
