Matt, the level of seriousness doesn’t seem worse (although I’ve been awol for two weeks, so I may not be up to speed on things), but the sheer number of ridiculous trolls and stupid topics is far worse now. you have to wade through the shit just to find info worth reading; and even then its only a matter of time before someone says something trying to be funny and de-rails the thread.

To me its seems to be par for the course. This board started as an MMA fan page. It was full of MMA fan teens and such. Trolling was a norm. PD was a huge troll. Nothing has changed. Except maybe the attitudes of the “old timers”.

I have to politely disagree with your thesis, I Choke You. For the last 14 or so months, (the time I’ve been here) the stupidity and off topic posting has seemed fairly consistant though there are fluxuations whenever a new Matthius signs on. Back when it was just you, phrost, and JKD chick posting, the quality level would of course have been higher. I suspect the quality you miss disappeared once Bullshido started sucessfully marketing itself and more noobs started visiting. I also should point out that there is no way that this forum was more intelligent at the height of the PD/Jamoke 1 flame wars which were legendary by the time I joined. Before I make any more assumptions I do have a question, from what date to what date were you an administrator on McDojo/Bullshido?

I had the impression that, to start with, it was full of quite experienced MMAers. Manchuria says that only he and J-kid could be remotely considered as ‘kids’ back then. People who equate MMA with trolling are teh suck.
