well the most absurd of the NYC gun laws is actually going to be examined by the SCOTUS, so there’s hope that it will all come tumblin’ down and i’ll be able to join you.
or i’ll move to vermont.

Not an SBR due to a technicality, but it may as well be:
What is that can? Is it welded (and is that the technicality)?

The technicality is the SB Tactical SBA3 brace that makes it a pistol instead of a rifle so I don’t need a tax stamp. The muzzle device is a Strela 3-piece flash hider/booster. It only has a single baffle so while it completely eliminates muzzle flash and does something to mitigate concussion for the shooter it isn’t actually a suppressor in the eyes of the ATF.

Cool setup though. 7.62 or 5.45? Is that a Bulgarian pattern?

7.62. The gun itself was made in Poland.

Yup! It’s really nice. Am very happy with it so far.

Atlantic Firearms and Arms of America have them. They’re pretty reasonably priced as well. I paid $650 for mine.
Well I got bored so I ordered a YHM Turbo K. Will probably do direct thread on a 12.5" dedicated suppressed mid length gas system upper I’ve been thinking about building.
Any day now on that HPA . . .
I built a form 1 suppressor over the summer. Total cost including stamp was like $650 and it’s all titanium and uses a griffin taper mount. Only had to wait 27 days for my stamp.

You can get them cheaper than that, but all my stuff is through SilencerShop and I’m lazy, so . . . We will see what the wait time is. I know they had a bunch of sub 90 day approvals at one point with the ATF new hires. But whatever, I’ll wait a year or more if need be.
On the bright side, Hansohn Bros is pretty close. They are a good confluence for distributors that carry products not in Silencershop’s inventory. When I go do my Turbo K transfer, I’ll see if they will let me buy their non Silencershop stuff, enter it into the SS system, and use all my trust info from there.
