i think you mean linkedin, and yeah that’s the best for professional stuff.
ZOINTS
Ummm, I’m already in the group, and I’ve already provided my real world identity.
I considered doing the proxy thing so I could continue to access facebook at work, but then I decided that these folks pay me an awful lot of money to actually do stuff for them, so spending a lot of time trying to circumvent the system was probably not in my best interests. So instead I content myself with wasting time with you fine folk here, and using my work e-mail to send notes to elected officials petitioning for international action in Darfur and northern Uganda. A girl’s got to have hobbies!
At the top left of your profile there is a search bar - type in Bullshido and when the group comes up, click to join. Then check out the ‘who you are in real life’ topic, post your deets, and send friend requests to anyone you actually want to get in touch with.
Already joined! Checked out that thread, though, and I didn’t see you on there. pm me a link or something.
I only use Facebook these days. Myspace is full of spam and FB has taken great strides in their setup to eliminate that.
I was under the impression that Facebook™ was for students only…thus, the unimpressive KhorneliusPraxx MySpace page.
Yeah, linkedin.com, that’s the one.
The nice thing about facebook is that since it limits the ability to search people other than by full name, or within the social network you are in (college, city, activity), you don’t see the ‘faraway lurker’ syndrome. Plus it limits one’s ability to change networks - you can only change networks a limited number of times before being locked into one for 3 months.
Women like that feature because it super-minimizes the # of mails they receive from geeks and otaku lurking for hooties. It’s just a million times cleaner than myspace.
Dude, what the fuck, man, what the fuck?
Why do you always take gratuitous shots at geeks and otaku? Fuck that shit, man.
