LL Cool J was upstairs in his home when he heard noise coming from the kitchen area. When he went down to see what was happening, the unidentified suspect came at him, leading to a skirmish.
Police said the two engaged in a “knock-down, drag-out” fight, which LL Cool J won. The burglar suffered a broken nose and jaw and was being held by the actor when officers arrived at the home in the 12000 block of Blairwood Drive.
“LL Cool J, and his family, are safe and thank everyone for their thoughts and concern,” his representative said. “As a father, husband and citizen, he is committed to keeping his family safe and is cooperating with authorities on this private matter.”
