Here is personal information about himself that Alex Caine self-reported in:

“Befriend and Betray: Infiltrating the Hells Angels, Bandidos and Other Criminal Brotherhoods”.

Obviously, it could be made up, or his editors may have changed names:

Siblings: Jim, Pete (a musician), Norma, Louise,

“Uncle Alfred” married to Emilienne,

Father’s sisters: Cecile, Irene and Laurette,

Mother: Mary O’Connor,

He claims he and his siblings did a stint at St. Joseph’s orphanage in Ottawa.

If he hung around Bobby Perez (the Hells Angel) and was known as Q-Bob, he would likely be known at Stett’s Iron Horse Ranch, 453 El Cajon Blvd, El Cajon, CA 92020, their bike shop of choice.

He claims to have been issued a DD214.

He claims to have done time in New Westminister Penitentiary in 1971.

He claims to have enrolled in Simon Frasier University, but he did not state that he graduated.

He claims to have married “Liz” in 1997, (religious studies diploma from St. Thomas University 1988, Master of Sacred Theology from McGill), separated in 1990.

He claims to have a son, not named.

So, I spent some time going through Ottawa obits for Mary O’Connor.

And, I spend some time trying to find female CV’s of 1988, 1989, 1990, graduated from McGill with Master of Sacred Theology.

I also pulled up some court docs on Bandidos arrests coinciding with his timeline.

No smoking gun hits yet.

Britt Anderson did plea to threatening an informant, coinciding with the timeline of Alex Caine’s claimed haul ass out of there.

We’ll see what the publishers say, and what personal info he divulges in the other books.

How much is the bet that his last name (or his wife’s maiden name) is [strike]Straker[/strike] Wells?

I have contact info for the wife he references as having split up with around 1990 in the first book.

That is not her name.
I’ve friends that have shifted armed services, that’s not so unbelievable; all but one have gone from Army to Navy, the other went from Navy to Air Force - he’s the guy that was flying Predators, up until last year. Not sure what he’s doing, now.

Getting picked out of boot camp before completion has to be a fabrication, though. Especially for a downgrade, from Marine to Green Beret (my bias is showing? yes, I consider Marines to be Navy)

Age seems right, though he has not aged well.

Getting a black belt in both arts by 22? I think unlikely.
Another factor is that the work was I would guess originally written in French. Reading the excerpt on google books it read as something translated. A decent one, but still, translated.

Gonzo claimed to have his ex wife’s name. Having that would help, although she is certainly entitled to her privacy.

He claims to have turned 22 in December of 1970.

Already a hardened killer…

Check your book of Face.
I do have a professional historian I work with who has an account over there, it will cost $60 for her to try to dig into the family history of the name we have and see if we can get matches on the particulars.

The problem is I suspect “Alex” lied about whole swaths of his family history.
We have his name, his siblings’ names, his ex-wife’s name, and his childrens’ names.

The real names, not the ones he listed in the book.

If that is true, send them my way. The names in the book look fake anyway, especially for supposed French Canadians.
Once I finish the book, I’ll see if I can go talk to some lawyers for the bandidos.
That should be interesting…

I got a trial membership on ancestry…

No luck on their military records
I can’t find anything that matches for him or his supposed ex-wife from bookface, or her, other than maybe one thing, which is pretty useless.

These posts which hint or outright state that we have identities for actors involved in whatever the fuck this is have been moved here out of an abundance of caution. Caine may be a complete charlatan, but some of the people being interviewed are scary individuals. There may be other posts moved here, as things continue to develop.

I’m reaching out through his lawyer to George Wegers who used to be Chapter President in the same Bandidos chapter as Alex, and who later became Bandidos national president. Scary dude.

Mr. Browning:

Thank you for your recent email which I took as an opportunity to visit with Mr. Wegers today. While my client would certainly enjoy assisting you in exposing the true nature of Alex Caine, he is unfortunately unable to provide you the specific information you seek.

During the times when Mr. Wegers had contact with Mr. Caine, Mr. Wegers recalls hearing the claims made by Alex Caine about his alleged service in both the Marine Corps and with the Army Green Berets in Vietnam. You may not be aware that during that time, Mr. Caine also sometimes claimed he had been an associate of the CIA, a claim which was truly hard to believe.

However, as Mr. Wegers recalls it, the Feds worked very hard to conceal any personally identifiable information about Mr. Caine and his family. Mr. Wegers and his defense team were never allowed to get Mr. Caine’s identifying information.

Apparently during one of the informant cases back in the day, Mr. Caine’s brother’s home in nearby Vancouver, BC was allegedly the scene of a drive by shooting. The Feds believed that the Bandidos had ordered the shooting to threaten Mr. Caine and his family. But as George Wegers tells the story, no one in the club knew anything about that because they had no clue whatsoever what Caine’s real name was or that he even had a brother. My client thought that the shooting was either made up by the cops, or it was committed by other people not in the loop with the Bandidos.

Jaw dropping stuff - hearsay, yeah, but it lends credence to some of the outlandish claims.

Have you communicated this to Murphy? He’s not able to peek in this thread.

He got an email along with BRK.

Sam

Jack Edward Sekora age 78, a longtime Sedro-Woolley Washington resident, who formally lived in Bellingham Washington died on February 15, 2017. By name and location, he appears to have been “Dr. Jack” of Bandido fame.

He would have been the most likely to talk about Alex if I had the right guy, now he’s likely gone.
