Your rules prevent any productive inquiries about people’s credentials. That is the point of the award you deserved.

It’s simple. Time, resources, etc. This whole issue is over Matt Morton. Matt had not broken any posted rules on MT, has not caused a commotion, has not attacked, trolled or otherwise violated any rules of the site. Therefore until our recent clarification and change, there was nothing to merit any action on our part. People here were screaming weeks ago that we should have banned him, while not banning him here. If he deserves a voice here, why not there? Bullshido has people who will put the time in to investigate this. Bullshido has a lawyer on staff to deal with the resulting headaches. You people built a case. Kudos. You got attention, you got other people moving, and they made decisions. Good. They haven’t announced them officially yet. No, the head of the org saying it is not the same as an official proclamation, I’m sorry. Before I pull the trigger on someone, I want it 110% solid. 99.9999% isn’t good enough. I would very much prefer to drop the BS between our sites, and be able to use this site as a resource and a preferred reference, but I cannot do that when the official policy here is “go fuck with MT”. MT allows for credential checks, etc, but has a structured system for it. It’s pretty simple and has been in place for years. “Bullshido said Morton’s a fraud, and Morton said he fucked up, so when are you pussys going to ban him” is the jist of this argument. It’s tiring.

Yes, that is similar to what you are doing. So are you saying that if someone goes to MT and claims something, and another poster calls BS on them and provides evidence for their accusation, you would be ok with this? It seems otherwise, with your policy on “no fraud busting” and all.
Considering that you couldn’t even do something as simple list your style in the field provided it’s simple to assume that no, we don’t know. Either that, or you’re a larper.
Btw, if it is the case that there has been a call for Matt Morton to be banned over there while not being banned here, it’s because your site has the policy of no investigations, no questioning of someone’s credentials. Therefore it’s become the case the MT is a safe haven for charlatans to run to.
So far the outcry I’ve seen is that M.M. is been given sanctuary, not that he hasn’t been banned yet.

Your case isn’t fraud busting as we define it. It’s a 1st person report of your dealings with another person and should work on the horror stories section fine. Fraud Busting as we define it is usually 1 of 2 things. Some newb pops in and 1st post is “hey this guys a scammer” or more usually someone with a bone to pick hops into every thread their target posts in and disrupts it by demanding papers. Less often is the “hey so and so claims this, what’s the real deal” which is a judgment call on our end. Sometimes we get it right, sometimes not. Hard to remain unbiased when every thread is getting disrupted, and a dozen shiny new accounts show up to pile on someone who hasn’t done anything wrong that we know of at that moment in time. We’ve had cases where someones competition has signed up just to disrupt their business. We’ve had a large number of cases of members of this site signing up just to stir up crap for kicks. So, we’re wary when it comes to anything from here. I’ll go on record here stating that my preference is that there are no frauds on MT. I’ll also go on record here stating that your account is welcome on MT, as it meets our requirements for proof. I removed my info here a while back as it was no longer current.
Since it’s deemed important to know:
Modern Arnis, Balintawak, Kombatan, (Various other FMA’s), EPAK, Wing Chun, Tai Chi, BJJ, Sombo, kendo and iaido. Plus a bit of several other arts over time. I claim no rank in any system at this time.
