I am investigating her background and trying to find out more specifically about her life as kyong ae fontaine in vermont, prior to California. I just recently learned that Tae Yun Kim (likely due to her failing health, and looking for a new breath of members), has started up a group called “Yong Sa Nation”
They (her companies) have retained the ownership rights to yongsanation.com as of 09-Feb-06
It appears they are going to try and start a viral marketing system, through myspace to market their psedo myspace website, that will offer “life-assistance” from ‘grandmaster’ kim and her proxies.
This is quite disturbing because it sounds like they are going to try and recruit children through their website!!
Are you equating the word “yong” with “young”? I don’t know a word of Korean, but you sound like you know some, so please translate what this “yong sa” term means…
As for myspace.com, it is in a gray area due to all the child molestation that has happened due to contacts predators make on line, the Feds are looking into it, and parents are aware of the dangers of letting their kids go there.
THere are so many life assistance crap outfits out there, I rather doubt this will have much success.
That is dangerous, especially with all the emo-types on that site.
Don’t look for me on there though, I tend to stay away from any online personals type site. Plus it’s fodder for SomethingAwful.com and companies scouting college students out.
Clare, the independant accounts of people who have attended her dojang and seen the same ‘odd’ practices, not least that one of the accounts is from 1992, plus the media investigation into cultism, are compelling evidence that supports your concerns.
If you can quote (and reference) several third party’s experiences added to your own inside knowledge, you will have a compelling article.
Also, she’s not on Wikipedia, that’s another place you could do battle - but you need to amass the information first as her chronies could swamp you.

I don’t know if you’re a mole inside this group, but you seem to be on top of what’s happening there.
Judging from the recent picture of her that you posted, she does appear ill, so I wonder just how long she or this new group will last. If the apparently charismatic leader of this group passes away, the others probably won’t be able to carry the torch with any effectiveness.
My feeling is that she is interested in recruiting new, younger leaders for her group. I don’t think her current group of people has any natural born leaders… and her recruited base’s average age has got a lot older!
So my feeling is she is using it to find a maleable leader.

Me too please. Getting sick feeling in pit of stomach, require info as above to dispel or reinforce ta very much. If this is some group of “warriors” - what are they warrioring about anyway?
What is the purpose of the group, their game plan, as it were, and what is a new leader expected to do.
Maybe I’m missing the point, but I don’t understand what these people are all about…if she’s looking for fresh blood and bypassing her current group, and as you state, the current base is aging, then she too is aging.
