A lot of things like this go on, the people sponsoring the events just don’t invite the wrong people.

I was impressed that both fighters demonstrated such clean technique, especially considering that this was an underground bare-knuckle fight. Usually, these things are just haymakers flying everywhere.

That was an entertaining fight! Kind of harsh on the hands, though, I’d imagine. Would have been cool to see Igor Vovchanchyn against one of these guys.

I guess they are experienced bare knuckle fighters (and boxers that need more money). You don’t see hardly any overhands you also see almost zero jab cross combos, my guess is that they spare their hands. This could also explain why they are careful with body shots, it really sucks to strike an elbow with your fist…
Another thing is that there is no boxer guard, they use had movement and slap away punches, but i guess when there are not many combinations thrown and no ropes you don’t have to use it. I would love to see them in a brawl though…how their clean boxing holds when someone has no regard to his hands and comes flailing like a maniac.

Great to see boxing taken back to it’s roots. The thing is that boxing gloves do indeed protect the individual’s hands and allow for continuous punching combos. In real confrontations the hands would get hurt and tire if one was to try so many combinations.
