I was arguing with someone online who couldn't read

I made like 4 threads in a row so after this I’m not making anymore. I ran into this 56 year old white man online who’s pretty awkward. I didn’t pay any attention to it because alot of men are weird and awkward so it’s not really a big deal especially on the internet. I started arguing with him online one day. I didn’t realize at first but after awhile I realized he didn’t understand what I was saying. At first I thought he just didn’t understand my argument. But later when someone came into the argument and understood exactly what I was saying even though he didn’t agree with me that’s when I understood this guy couldn’t read.

I knew before I started arguing with him that he lives in a part of the united states where they notoriously inbreed but I ignored it. I honestly think he’s on the spectrum. But in reality I’m the one who’s on the spectrum for arguing with someone who can’t read. I’m not telling you where this argument happened because you guys will troll the shit out of him. He’s not a bad person he’s just not literate.

Id never have guessed he was an inbred that couldnt read by his picture.

Every place on earth has inbreeding, but especially Great Britain, Africa, the Middle East, Oceania, and Asia. All the great dynasties.

The US has laws in place against it, specifically because we’re only a few hundred years old and don’t want House of the Dragon types around here. There hasn’t really been a “political dynasty” in the US since the Kennedy’s and we all know how they turned out.

Once House Trump is out of the way, we’ll be fine, the hillbillies will go back to where they belong (making butter, belts, and syrup).

But illiteracy was a real big problem before the Internet started skullfucking everyone, and basic reading is not only an important skill, but so is interpretation. And for that, you need to know who you are talking with, something almost everyone ignores. It takes time to understand someone you are talking with.

On social media, you need to READ your opposite, not just read what they write. People with no post high school education are still trying to debate me on topics ranging from vaccines to ADHD to climate change to quantum physics in the AI age. Because social media gave them buttons to smash.

Imagine trying to chat about quantum wave function collapse with someone who saw all four Matrix movies and tells me “well, nothing is real”. I’m not wasting my precious years left on these people, and neither should you. They missed out on the good ship SS. Education decades ago.

The universal answer is “go touch grass with your feet, moron, everything is real”.

I was going to criticize you for discussing quantum wave function with an idiot but I was arguing with someone who wasn’t’ even literate. I talked to him on the website before the argument and he would have no clue what I was talking about. I was like wtf it’s almost like he doesn’t understand what I was saying.

That’s OK, I just got into heated multi-day debate with someone on FB who went on a major rant about “defining what a woman is”…

(…in a thread about Imane Khelif that Phrost started, that was reposted by a former Bully…)

And after writing several essays, he had the moment of clarity to ask, “btw who is Imane”?
