Documents discussion

Thanks Georgette, Andrew and JnP for looking over the documents I sent you.

Just to be clear, we’re talking about

(1) A visa application for Andre Fernandes (owner of Gracie Barra)
(2) A skip trace for the woman named as his wife on that visa
(3) An affidavit from former Gracie Barra president John Gorman detailing a break in at the original Gracie Barra USA gym
(4) A roster of students from the original Gracie Barra USA gym
(5) Documents related to an FBI investigation of the company BJJtapes belonging to the owner of that gym (James Liu)

Before I start making my points, does anyone have any questions or comments about any of this? Please chime it at least so we know everyone has found the thread and can view it.

Edit: If you are not among those named, but can read this thread, please observe strict confidentiality.

OK, so this is where we stand: there have been several Gracie Barra instuctors charged recently with rape. I received a tip a while back that the IBJJF has provided a mechanism for Brazilians ineligible for immigration to the US (and Canada) to gain permission to work and live in this country as GB instructors. I believe this is actually the case, and is the root cause of so many offenders concentrating among the GB instructors.

I have shown the group via (1) and (2) above that the GB leadership is willing to commit immigration fraud; through (3) that they are willing to engage in criminal conspiracy; finally we saw via (4) and (5) that the GB/IBJJF leadership has the inclination and the ability to manipulate federal law enforcement agents. If anyone wishes to debate these conclusions, now is the time.

The next step is to run the names of the three GB instructors recently arrested for rape through Brazilian law enforcement and see if they had prior violent or sexual arrests or convictions. I have a few other names I am going to have checked as well, but I will include any names others here may want to see results on, so please chime in with suggestions if that is the case.

If any person granted a visa to work for GB in the US or Canada comes back with a record that would have made them apriori ineligible for such a status, then we have evidence that something very serious is going on. Having previously manipulated the FBI into intimidating their personal enemies, they would be guilty of manipulating immigration to install dangerous criminals as BJJ instructors.

Hopefully they all come back clean, because if the do not then we will have to go back and check every GB BB in North America.

On a different note: Georgette, do you have any greater ability than a civilian to look into what became of the Grand Jury mentioned in (5) above? I was planning to file a FOIA, but it occurred to me that you might have other tools at your disposal.

We’re interested in checking if federal grand jury #2009-313 took place or was aborted.

These are the three names we are running past Brazilian law enforcement for priors:

Daryell Dickson Menezes Xavier
Cristiano Renato Quintino Oliveira
Rodrigo de Carvalho Silva

Please let me know if you would like to add additional names to the list.

The Brazilians have the names and are running them.

Andrew, how do you feel about the copy of the letter I posted from the individual targeted by the FBI investigation? Does that put him on the record sufficiently?

Andrew? I hope you’re following the thread because all these recent posts are for your review and comments. Georgette as well.

I received these emails from 2009. They are relevant.

Hi Jim,

I hope all is well.

I just got permission from the FBI to talk to you about their visit to my
office regarding your DVD business. The case is closed now, in case this
comes as news to you.

Did you know?

Thanks,
Steve Collins

Request the information from the justice department with a FOIA request. I’m not sure what your damages are. Other than really pissing you off.

It seems like the Gracies filed a complaint with the government and they were obliged to investigate. Since it didn’t go anywhere, it just seems like a waste of government money more than anything else. It seems counterproductive to keep trading blows with these idiots.

The ruthlessness of these people are amazing. It really is a cult, with people willing to jepordize their livelihoods to help out somebody who is in essence a gym teacher. Maybe Fetosa gives good head or something.

Now, if the investigation had come to light and gone further than it actually did while you were at trial, then this could have been grounds for something bigger.

The real bone you have to pick is with your immigration attorney. Who knows, maybe he was in on this too.

I don’t know that a formal complaint with the justice department will come to anything. But the allegation that the FBI was used to intimidate a plaintiff in a civil case should be a black mark against the agents who suggested this. My guess is the Cult agents aren’t the ones that investigated. More likely the Cult members coached Carlos how to phrase his complaint.

So do you want me to contact this Steve guy?

What’s this subpoena and grand jury about? Although, grand jury stuff is sealed - you will never see that.

Wow! But with the grand jury involved and a judge to sign the subpoena
(which contains the DA’s name and number for me to contact with Q’s), sure
sounds like the were not sneaking around on their own. They also said I can
talk to you now. Just like I was and they were surprised you would be doing
something wrong, I would be very surprised if these guys were. They seemed
like decent people.
