Century EAGLE Karate Gi Top - Black Size 5

Back in the 80’s Century Martial Arts began making the Eagle gi’s. These were an instructors or competitors dream uniform. So stiff and heavy it snapped and popped like a bad kung fu movie just putting it on.

Most of us “old timers” grew up with uniforms that were triple and more starched and still werent crisp enough. Mike Dillard listened to us and for better or worse, built us the Eagle.
I included for worse cause almost immediately the “girlies” began complaining about it being too stiff. The rest of us wore it like a suit of armor and looked great on the winners podium.

I don’t know how long the Eagle was made but sadly they are no more.

10+ years ago I put a couple of the tops in storage ensuring that if the 4 or 5 I had ever wore out I’d have a stash. Sadly I forgot to account for age and potential expanding girth.
I now have nothing but size 5’s and I don’t see these fitting anytime soon.

A new Ironman top is running $89.99 so I think $100.00 for a collectors item is reasonable - Ill even ship it for that.
I have 2 of them.
This is BRAND NEW as in still in the package, never worn.
