Hardly. my Mother’s cancer and slow decay has definitely collapses the structure of my world as I know it. It’s not meant as mellodramatic, just an aknowledgement that my worldview, perspective etc have all been changed or gone. Dynamics are changed, my go-to person is gone, and my world is forever changed without her.

Most of this has only come up in the last few months, and didn’t exist prior when we were together at uni. I’m growing more concerned she’s seeing this as a ‘latch on’ rock from how she’s talking about us, perhaps fuelled by her mental health condition. It’s hard to say.

If this bothers you, you should run away now as it isn’t going to change any time soon.
Overall, it sounds like she needs professional help and support before she is in a place in her life to BE in a relationship.
Do you want a GF/wife or do you want a live-in therapy patient that you have to pay for and will be sleeping with other guys the whole time?

I don’t think she’s ready for any of the things shes talking about like marriage, and may just be rushing herself and jumping to an ‘end plan’ out of need/want of a steady base. I’m going to talk to her about this because frankly I’m not sure she’s ready for a relationship with where she’s at.

I never deliberately time travel further back in time than the time periods with the ready availability of toilet paper.
And, I never go anywhere without a folding toilet, toilet paper, and baby wipes in the back of my car.
