Yeah, it was one match, Lei Tai style. He trained some for it as I recall, but was kinda busy with family and work at the time.

I should point out for clarity that I’m not making fun specifically of his fight vid. I’m rather calling out the fact that wrabbit boasted about having great technique to the point of claiming that people would die training at his level and fighting against him. A boast that was very clearly NOT backed up by his vid. If I remember correctly he had 3 matches in that tournament.
Nice clarification
He may have had three scheduled, but just had video of one. I guess I could find the thread but whatever. Something happened (to him, injury?) so could not continue. Fought a bigger, younger, dude in the video.
I thought two and Bnet says three.
As I recall, there was video of one fight. He may have had 3 scheduled, but, I think he was injured in his first fight. So I think he only participated in one match.
Quit posting, again ? I guess his plan has reached fruition, then.

I jest. He didn’t quit. I assume he works and sleeps at times.
I remember my sadness at not having much to work with as far as encouraging words on the technique, not just being a dick here. I remember hoping to say some positive stuff and getting stuck with “thanks for getting punched in the face for your personal growth and our enjoyment” type thing.
It looks like a real fun ruleset… but those helmets.
I am kinda worried tho… he was posting beyonce videos before he signed off. That is some serious red flag action that says someone ain’t right.
Really? It took that before you got concerned? When a guy has to use an online test to try to prove he doesn’t have a psychological disorder that should have been a red flag

I like the ruleset, other than no groundwork. But groundwork isn’t really in their tradition. It makes for some exciting matches for sure.

Beyonce’s performances are hyperbolic in every sense of the word, eh?
We eagerly await the footage of your fights.
And yeah, I’ve got video here of me competing (at Judo).
Heck, Monkey posted some of his simian antics versus the great white Gozirra from the days before he lost most of his lung capacity.
When I make a claim I need to back then I will. But considering I’m 45 and have to recover my knees don’t hold your breath. My serious training days were in my 20’s and well behind me now. I still do HEMA from time to time and regularly practice archery. That’s the limits of my claims.

I pass out slack like it was free, but some signs one just cannot ignore.
Post anything on Bullshido where I boasted about having great techniques that wasn’t some stupid YMAS thing.
I mean seriously, I don’t even challenge people to fights. People love to challenge me though, going all the way back to Hiro Protagonist.
It’s because most of you are bunch of crybaby online douchebags.
Here’s where you fail big: not reading between the lines.

Oh shit, we’re back to demanding martial arts videos. Hot damn, got BS a live one.
My official Lei Tai ammy record is 1-1. Which from a kung fu standpoint is the 1% of people who actually train to fight with it.
You could say that by the time I crossed “kung fu platform death match” off my bucket list, I had already gotten very comfy with BJJ, and anybody who know me knows my original love is judo.
So, I was really just training BJJ at the time with some MT and JKD mixed in now and then. Not enough regular boxing. I had planned to join “The Beast Factory” program in Somerset Ct NJ to really prepare hard with more partners, but honestly ran out of training time.
I lost the first match to cuts and points, the second I won due to my opponent getting concussed in his first match against a fighter who literally moves and fights like Godzilla himself.
As fate would have it, losing was the best possible outcome.
I credit Hung Ga and Judo for not being greatly injured. (we do sign and record a video death waiver for those fights…people get really fucking hurt).
And that’s that. btw, that Beyonce+Sean video is hot. When I post videos here, that’s my workout music. Just picture me rollin to a beat…
