Am I getting Old?

I used to it all kinds of sugary and fatty foods when I was younger but now when I eat it I can feel my blood pressure go up. I ate at this fast food place called whataburger and when I got into my car I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. When I go to class and do things like road work I feel fine but I can’t eat bullshit anymore for some reason. I turned 39 a few days ago.

LOL

You’re still a kid.

Yeah, I had a similar experience when I was around 40. Annual check up and doctor said something to the effect of “what’s up with your blood pressure” and my cholesterol wasn’t great either. So far I’ve been able to manage each with better diet, but the reslience of youth fades as you have found.

It gets worse, im 47 and feel the shit I eat minutes after I eat it.
Any processed carbs suck my energy , even if I havent been drinking enough water my energy drops in afternoon and I have to drink a few litres to get it back.

So yes you are getting old . Happy birthday

I have to watch my diet now. But when I was younger I didn’t watch my diet and I felt fine. I haven’t really paid any attention to it but I think I have to drink more water now. I think I get thirstier after I train nowadays.

Thank you!

Yes. We are all dying.

Drink more water, and less alcohol, sugar, and salt. Get more exercise. See your doctor(s) more regularly and get bloodwork done at least once a year.

We have already lost several Bullies in the last year from medical issues. You can’t live forever, but you can conquer death.

You are what you eat.

Sorry, instinct.

PDA’s post in “Data driven approach to COVID19 vaccination for kids, and adults” and Trump Shit Thread," annoy the shit out of me but he hasn’t said anything retarded in this thread. I never thought I would ever say this but give @PDA a break.
