so what if the dude’s a crook? there’s nothing really earth shattering about his product, and as his product is what affects martial artists, who cares?
and what’s your beef with him?
So, do you have stock in the company(phoenix Laboratories)?
You are calling someone fraudulent (Your other thread) who are you?
Are these your 2 websites?

Xyience settled the case with Valint in early February, 2007. The above report was written in January of 2007.
Interesting no info or links on this settlement.
No stock
I have no stock and no financial interest. I just know a great story when I see one. This is a case of fact being stranger than fiction. Everything I’ve written has been backed up by multiple sources and/or documents. As for the settlement, the details were not available. It was a sealed document. Those are my Web-sites, and one of the story angles about to be revealed is how Xyience products were initially manufactured as just sugar and water and the labels were all wrong. They were stealing so much money from the company that they couldn’t make their product legitimate.
My point in writing this is to expose the truth and help people who have been victimized. The UFC built Xyience into something it was never meant to be, and although the new management seems on the ball, the house that Russell Pike built was literally funded by stolen money. What I wrote is no witch hunt or smear campaign, and it’s all legitimate information. Dana White and the UFC knew about Pike’s past, and they knew he wasn’t going to change. I am even hearing that the Fertitta brothers are getting ready to dump a ton of money into Xyience any day now.
I have an exclusive angle on the story that just keeps on giving. It is really an amazing tale of greed and true crime. I have enough to write a non-fiction book on the subject. There are a lot of people who seem to think that if this whole thing doesn’t interfere with them watching good fights, they don’t see the point of exposing it. Like a whole class of people willing to look the other way as long as their entertainment isn’t interrupted. I’m not trying to interrupt the fight game in any way, shape, or form, but to look the other way is impossible. This whole mess needs to be cleaned up. People’s life savings have been stripped from them, and this whole charade has been built on lies and deception from the very beginning.
I just think it’s about time this story saw the light of day. Too many news outfits aren’t bothering to go after it for fear that they will jeopardize their access to the UFC. I don’t think access to the UFC is worth selling out for. The truth being exposed and the people who have no money to sue seeing some semblance of justice is more important than any access.
It is all true. Nobody would ever believe it if it was published in a novel, but it’s all genuine fact.
Just a quick question for you vin: What’s the purpose of the site you are on right now?
A better question is: Why is this not in MABS?
My point in writing this is to expose the truth and help people who have been victimized. The UFC built Xyience into something it was never meant to be, and although the new management seems on the ball, the house that Russell Pike built was literally funded by stolen money
Would this type of language be of any concern (from the legal point of view) to this site (independently of the merits of this proto-investigation)?
what i’m trying to say is that I don’t really consider it martial arts BS. it’s fucking xyience for chrissakes. if you’re drinking it, you should be drinking it at your own risk.
Boxer47, I strongly suggest you take a good look at this thread you started and answer the following questions:
There are a lot of cases of fraud, and just plain bullshittery in this world. I could open a thread to fight the spread of cults like “Heaven Gates”, or to discuss the EMO ghayshittery that afflicts our juvenile male masses. Some of those topics are proper of trollshido; others are more proper to sociocide.com (or similar sites.)
I will strongly suggest you make a case of why this thread should stay here as opposed to trollshido (which is where I will be forced to move it if you don’t do so.)
Another possibility is that you create a similar thread for discussion in sociocide. This has nothing to do with the truth value of your statements. It is more about the nature of it within the context of bullshido.net…
… and for the bloody fucking love of Lord Xenu, don’t just post a link without following it up with 2 or 3 paragraphs stating YOUR OPINION. This isn’t yahoo’ questions.
Company doesn’t pay its bills and is run by convicetd fellon, film at 11.
Because this is typical business fraud stuff. The only reason this is even partially martial arts related is because of who they sponsor. Does that alone get it into MABS? I don’t think so. Other than those directly impacted (emplyees, shareholders) this doesn’t matter at all to the average xyence consumer.
Now if the UFC really does buy them that might be a bit different as it could raise questions about the “legitimacy” of the UFC and by extension all of MMA. I say that like there’s some sort of integrity in casino owners and a fight org that underpays talent.
Boxer47, honestly with the site design and your hyperbole this reads more like personal vendetta than an investigative report. Have you considered contacting a local indy media reporter if for nothing else than some editing?
And for fucks sake remove that stupid sound file on your report page. This isn’t 1998.
I have a question: has anyone ever tried xycience? Perhaps I am too old to be fully effected by the need to be just like the guys on the tv, because neither the logos, nor the jump cutty ads, nor the painful product placement have caused me to give it a try.
Also, didn’t it make sylvia crap himself?
the supplement market as a whole has some shady pasts. Xience is really no different, the supposed accusations of fraud against manufacturers and distributors are unfortunately pretty common. Hell I could tell you a couple of stories about a certain real estate developer with a dead muskrat on his head that would make you sick. Unfortunately it is something that isn’t going to change.
The thing that makes this appear to be applicable here is their attempt to corner the supplement market for MMA. Which if you ask me is actually a good tactic. Go for a small demographic group, build a loyalty and expand from that.
In the end we are talking about a sport which has overt ties to boxing just by genre, which we all know about the shady dealings that go on there tied to a company selling a product which has a label informing the public that the claims made for the product haven’t been evaluated or proven by the FDA.
In other words, is anyone really suprised?
The Xyience Xenergy Cran Razz energy drink is OK. Though, it’s not going to replace the energy drink that I drink the most (Monster Khaos).
PirateJon and smillard have raised good points on why this thread may be applicable to martial arts, in particular the nutrition and sport supplement martket for MMA.
The next question will be: are Xyence products of the type that would raise concerns to MA practitioners (assuming the aforementioned practitioners use good judgement as opposed to believe they’ll turn into Chuck Liddell overnight by taking Xyence products)?
I’m asking that question since this is the health forum of bullshido, and I quiet honestly don’t want to move this to Guantanamo (or trollshido) without having either Boxer47 (or other posters) express their opinion. I strongly believe this should have started in sociocide (or the topic rephrased/narrowed down to better fit the topics discussed in this website.)
Would you like it moved to MABS? I’m inclined not to trollshido it because it involves a company that sponsors UFC and therefore has a close commercial link with NHB fighting.
Hey Sam.
Yeah, I think moving it to MABS would be more appropriate. I’m just hoping Boxer47 and his threads do not turn into another ar497 debacle (or whatever his name was) :tongue6:
Okay I’ll move it, but I’m doing so partly because everyone accuses us of being UFC fanboys, and I wouldn’t want to let such dirt go un-noticed.
It feels like I’m missing something here. Xyience products made a great business move by associating themselves with the leading name in MMA. They target their products specifically towards people who compete in combat sports.
So what’s the problem? All major supplement companies do this. MET-RX has their world’s strongest man; MuscleTech has Ronnie Coleman and Triple H. It’s all about getting successful athletes to endorse your products. These athletes do not necessarily endorse the best products, simply those that pay the most. But…I thought that was just common knowledge.
Are you arguing the fact that Xyience products do not turn you into an elite MMA fighter? Or are you arguing that there are better products out there? Because in all honesty there is always a “better supplement” and NO supplement will turn someone into an elite athlete in any sport.
The point is that this is a forum for martial arts with a heavy emphasis on MMA and Xyience having targeted the MMA crowd the OP thought this was the best place to air this. If it were MET-RX or one of the others it wouldn’t be here.
The point about Xyience not turning you into the next Chuck Liddell is very true, but there are still people that buy into the hype.
I think some people come with this stuff thinking it will start some grass roots campaign against a company like Xyience. The truth is a company like Xyience will either evolve into a reputable mainstay supplement company like some that you mentioned above or it will wither and die like so many flash in the pan/make a fast buck companies.
By the way I have never tried any Xyience products and am not inclined to at this time. I usually like to wait until I get some good feedback from people before I start ingesting stuff into my body regardless if they have hotties dancing around in their advertisment.
I agree, but it still seems like this is an argument against marketing. I don’t see anything wrong with a company lauding the fact that they endorse MMA fighters. It’s up to the consumers to be smart enough not to fall for bs.
