useless thread… whenever I see WTF Tae Kwon Do I always think… What the F@!! Martial art. I’m sure there are are few folks very talented… it just makes me laugh.
Anyone else get those kind of feelings/thoughts when they think of any particular martial art or acronym?

Well, since the WTF is the organisation which handles the rules and tournaments and whatnot of olympic taekwondo and has absolutely fuckall to do with gradings, taekwondo curriculum, self-defence or McDojangs that means “WTF taekwondo” is a sport to the very last drop and not exactly a martial art. I mean it’s really boring to look at most of the time, but so is soccer or ice hockey. They compete at their own rules in their own game and no doubt at an olympic level they are certainly extremely skilled in what they do. So what’s the problem? You think the WTF consider themselves teh deadly?

I didn’t get the AKK… until the Jeff Speakman thing came up. That was funny. The movie was good at the time, or at least so I thought. Slow it down and you can see the misses which is worth the fun time for some
Soccer and Ice Hockey is boring to some folks, not to others. It is always a frame of reference, who you are hanging out with and sometimes beer helps the situation or some funny folks watching with you. Personally a live event appeals to me more than watching it on TV in the case of hockey and soccer.
