Nope, I dont think I would ever do that. Throwdown, sure if they were at least near my weight class. But never just out on the street.

Reasons:
People can not consent to a battery - I haven’t worked hard my whole life to have it flushed by some asshole if I really hurt or kill someone (or vice versa).
If it started on the internet, then there will be lots of evidence to be used against me, in writing.
If I’m attacked, fine, I’ll fight to survive, otherwise, I will play no part in the accelleration of hostilities.

Actually there is no difference in state to state. It is a uniform common law principle. There is also no differnce between an unsanctioned amateur bareknuckle NHB bout and battery. There is a difference if it is “sanctioned”

No, besides from the other aforementioned reasons, I don’t have the time nor inclination to go out of my way to get into a fight with someone I don’t trust or know.
That’s going to differ slightly from state to state, but it’s going to mean, basically authorized by the State. So with proper licencing and such.
