Would Wing Chun training help Ken Shamrock?

A major principle of wing chun is that finess will defeat raw power; 10 pounds beats 100 pounds is applied properly. Ken has depended on brute force for most of his career, but he’s too old for that now, as seen in his fights against Ortiz. If he spent 5+ years training Wing Chun, maybe he could use more advanced skills to win fights. He can’t get stronger, so why not get smarter? I think he could still make a comeback. He is still the world’s most dangerous man, but he just needs to rethink his training a little. Ortiz isn’t that much better than he is, just a little stronger and younger.

What are your thoughts on the Redguard race?

I find they make better warriors than Nords, arguably the best, barring perhaps orcs.

Then again Nords have that cool frost touch thing, but it doesn’t really compare to andrenaline rush.

Redguards are clearly inferior, but Imperials and Bretons come very close to Nords in cosmic idealism, at least according to Nietzsche.

Wing chun has no particular “advanced” skills to offer, so no.

Nietzsche is dead.

. . . and his Mad Sister forged much of his racist work.

But Dark elves are more rounded warriors skilled in weapons and the use of magicka so perhaps they are superior to all.

in oblivion since you can effectively use magic and weapons at the same time i also prefer the dark elves

I must agree with you Dear Nord, as wing chun is truely one of the deadliest martial art in the world: it has been tested through thousand of years of warfare. Since we, fellow martial artists, all know that ground fighting equals to stand up fighting, we can all say without a doubt, that a 47 years old Ken Shamrock armed with chain punches on the ground would probably be the deadliest man in the world; a true “human weapon”. The question is, would it be safe to let a wing chun practicioner enter one of these events? He might murder someone with his dreadful eye gouges and crotch kicks…
