WEST PALM BEACH – It was as if the Perez family had a protocol to use during a robbery: Candelaria Jacinto jumps on the back of the attacker choking her husband, Mateo Perez, yanking him down to the ground by his hair.
Their daughter, Juana, 15, calls 911. Their other daughter, Imelta, 13, breaks a plastic chair over the robber’s head, then ties his legs with a jump rope. Juan, 10, smacks the man with a stick.
They hold him down and wait for police.
That recipe put Craig Mack, 23, of Loxahatchee, in jail on robbery and battery charges after the Monday-night attack
He, I think that was sweetly fucking cool. I’m glad nothing really major happened to the family. The lady of the house, she has balls, but I guess that’s what any woman would do if she were to see her husband/boyfriend attacked. Who said that hair-pulling chick-style fighting wasn’t effective?
One thing I can conclude from this news article is that the would-be robber is 1) a moron, and 2) a pussy. What a fucking loser. :icon_conf
This story reminded me of my mum. When I was younger, our shop was burglared (my parents ran a small provision shop). The bungling thief tripped the alarm and we were alerted and came to investigate. We caught the thief in action, two of them infact, one escaped through the ceiling. The second one, my mum pulled his legs and he fell while trying to escape, got himself bloodied as well when he fell down.
With godspeed, my mum quickly grabbed a forked pole (the pole was used to take our goods located at the upper shelf) and pushed the thief to the wall. My dad, picked up a metal crow-bar and threaten the thief that we was going to break his limbs if he tries something funny. I ran to the telephone and called the police.
We only manage to nab one thief, the other got away and we did not see his face.
That night I saw my mum’s fearlessness, and is someone you don’t wanna mess with. She is a lioness and will fight to the bitter end if threaten, me thinks anyway.
