Dudes, I like both of you but let me set the record straight from a non practicing systema person, Cullion. Systema is just a system of exercise and principals. When I was asked to review the video tape on the martial arts of systema I found it falling short but I understood the principal they were trying to get across and at least that made sense. Can we finally let this shit go?

Cullion: First, do a youtube search for Primal Power. They’re MMA-esque videos which show an advanced application of systema principles.
As for what I do in class, imagine Pavel Tsatsouline made a video about pain tolerance and weapons familiarization - it would be something like that. Pavel’s body of work is so similar to systema I used to be CONVINCED he, too, was a practitioner.
