The Hand are daredevils main enemy.
Fun fact: TMNT comics were created to poke fun at how serious Daredevil comics were.
Hence the name of the Ninja clan the TMNT’s fight being named “The Foot”.

I never got into Turtles growing up. I am 37 so I am sorta the right age for the original stuff, I just never saw it’s greatness. I also missed out on the comic book scene for the most part it was sci-fi and AD&D till I discovered sex, drugs and religion.
Thankfully I got out of some of that stuff. It rots the brain.
…
but seriously… that is cool and I had no idea.
I guess I should also clarify I didn’t research anything to prevent spoilers. Are they really being canon?
Daredevil is following the original Miller series in a faithful way. If you don’t like magical secret ninja stuff, look away. On a sidea note. A lot of the ninja stuff is based on real ninja gangs that hAve been active in the US from time to time. Unfortunately they don’t teach outside their clan, that’s why it so hard to learn real ninjitsu.
Why are there ninjas in my show about a martial artist who sneaks around in a black mask?!?
I don’t want to spoil anything for ya. Just to say say that the ninja stuff is canonical.
Sorry BFM. Traditionally Daredevil is actually about fighting ninjas. Season 1 being a crime drama filled with investigating real estate transactions and shell corporations was the exception, not the rule.

I’m going with a big fat NOPE on this bit.

This is Trollshido … you’re suppose to play along in hopes they are actually serious and bring up such a fucking stupid hypothesis on one of the real forums.
I am still enjoying it. It was just the 100’s of ninja’s moving through New York unnoticed and pinning down the police with bows. I was mostly on board till that scene.
Looking forward to season 3
shrugs
It’s better than Agents of Shield …

You’ve said too much; prepare to be silenced.

I haven’t watched that far. Sin City and 300 were comics by the same artist Frank Miller. So if you’ve sen those films you may have a sense of how he belnds fantasy and noir. I thought they did a nice job bringing Miller’s feel to the screen, but Given the realistic tone of the TV series I can see how the ninja stuff can feel…um…dissonant?
But on a side note. Tactically real ninjas will always dictate the pace in a police encounter. Real ninja bows are quite effective at night in the city. They’re silent and have no muzzle flash. Also the arrows easily pierce ballistic fabrics, like spear punctures chainmail. They won’t pierce ceramic plate, though, anyone who believes that is high.
The cops are firing upward into the dark being blinded by their own muzzle flashes and streetlights. Total disadvantage. Also, cops don’t drill ninja ambushes. Ninjas practice cop take downs until its automatic. They also would have been preparing by sleeping during the day and spending lots of time in dark rooms, getting acclimated to seeing in the dark.
Taking on Hell’s Kitchen with farm tools!!..one thing though, I’m digging this Punisher shit. He’s not afraid to give someone a good slappin

I know I should just ignore it but fucking come on.
Can you even point to ONE fucking ninja ambush of the police in all of the US history?

9/11 you heartless & cruel person. How could you forget? You said you would never forget!

They’re usually attributed to “masked gunmen”," unknown assailants" etc. If ninja ambushes were publicized or had witnesses, I’d be skeptical if it was by real ninjas.
The actor they got for the Punisher is awesome. He can act and he’s badass. Far scarier than both awful Punisher movies. They even found a convincing way to show his softer side without getting schmaltzy

I am pretty fucking sure that its easy to tell the difference between an attack with a bow vs an attack with a gun.
Also any time a police officer is killed in the line of duty it is publicized.
Hell even attacked.
I would be very skeptical of a ninja attack that left police officers dead as NOT publicized.
There certainly isn’t some sort of media/police/ or other conspiracy to hide the existence of ninjas.
ergo they obviously are not attacking police officers.
